As you have pictures of it before it was sent I'd send those AND a copy of the pics taken now it's been returned. List the events in date order like 01/08/07 email recieved from buyer stating jacket is a fake. 05/08/07 email recieved from buyer stating jacket not a fake but now damaged. and so on send that to Paypal and explain that due to the item being returned after more than 7 days as damaged and the damage was clearly not there when posted nor when the buyer recieved as she only mentioned it after x days you will not be refunding her and do not feel they should find in her favour. As soon as she pays for the item to be posted back to her again you will ofcourse do so :)

You could also point out to Paypal that their actions are condoning fraud and that you will be starting a claim in the small claims court against them to recover any losses you incur.

You should also inform the buyer that it was not damaged when you sent it and that you will be making an appointment to see your local CID officer to see if her actions constiture attempted fraud.

Hi all... thank you all so much...
I just knew this was going to happen!! I had a feeling as soon as the messaging started..
I am going to send the pics off to Paypal today and take it from there..
Paypal are still holding the money so I am not sure why they have not refunded her straight away..
Will let you know how I go.. have a great weekend!!

unless the images you are showing were displayed on your listing and clearly shows no damage sending paypal the image alone will not work as you cant prove when they were taken. better to show the ebay listing of the jacket displayed as that cannot be altered after the sale and will show who is telling the truth.
