I'm sorry you can't afford an Iphone :(

:rotfl: I was waiting for that one. Don't worry I can perfectly well afford one, I just don't see the attraction of overpaying for designer goods.

I've edited your post to make it correct. Not everyone that owns an Android phone think that they are rubbish. I have one (and an Android tablet) and I'm more than happy with it. I could very easily afford an Iphone, it's simply that I don't want one.

I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with Apple devices, it's just a case of "horses for courses" as they say.
Some people like BMW's whilst others prefer Mercedes. Both do the job that they are designed for and like IOS/Android, some people simply prefer the use of one over the other.
  • Mind you you'd think that a company so obsessed with design that they would put screens on their devices that was more durable.

I wouldn't be suprised if before long that home insurances upped their premiums for people who had apple products because their screens break so frequently.

You have now jumped the shark with your trolling :rotfl:

I imagine you put all your spare £1,000s into your pension fund. Let us know how that works out!

    You miss the point.

If everyone who owned an Android phone thought it was super duper, then Android phones are super duper. Get it?

I have Android, Windows and Apples phones

the worse is Windows phones and if you look long enough you will find early reports that even MS think its rubbish.

Android phones are OK, but i think Android Tablets are better than the phones.
iPhones are the number 1 choice, but like everything else you will get people who hate Apple products

No I've got the bulk of it invested in apple shares seeing as mugs like yourself give me such a good return.

which a new one will have full 12 months warranty and an upto date model

The warranty comments valid but a new one will still be an Ipad Mini, nothing new or up to date other than possibly the OS. Everything else will be the same.

Not really as if you had an iPad Air it would still £156 compared to £319 new, so in that instance the repair/refurb is best option, but for iPad mini its better to pay extra and get new

Repaid cost depend on model, Ipad, Ipad 2/Mini2 is £206, 3rd /4th/Air and mini 3 repairs are £256, Ipad Air 2 is £306.

As I said it depends what's failed, but many other companies will charge similar high prices for out of warranty repairs, its just as you said for the mini the price of it new has dropped a lot so hence a repair may not be that much of a value for money option.
  • Gulp! If I was in a similar position I'd be more inclined to put my money towards relationship counselling than towards getting my tablet repaired.
Ah, don't say that, he really is a wee darling and has a wonderfully kind
