I personally don't think you have a leg to stand on.
The children should be with their mother not a child minder!
Why are you not looking after your own children?

does your work come first or your children??

You are either a moron or a troll. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Clearly you think im a moron and that's fine - your more than welcome to judge me

with regards to JAYLEE3 highlighting that I don't wash 7 days a week etc....... its fine to judge me too

but it wasn't fine for me to have an opinion was it?

Although, I do get sick of people sitting on their judgemental high horses critisizing frazzled and busy mothers for having the temerity to 'dump their kids in front of the telly for a couple of hours.' or let them play computer games. Almost everyone does it. Probably actually everyone if people were honest!

The thread isn't about a frazzled and busy mother though. Its about someone who was PAID by the OP (probably a lot of money) to look after her two children over half term, and decided to take the money and leave them to their own devices upstairs. If she is too frazzled and busy to look after 6 kids (and I would be too) then she needs to find a different job or take less children on, not take the money and leave them to fend for themselves.

As for it being OK to "dump kids in front of the computer or tv", the key here (and the point of this thread) is to make sure they are safe. I work full time and have 3 kids, and of course they all have tv and computer time, and often this coincides with me having time to pay a few bills or enjoy a cup of coffee. What they don't have, however, is free access to unsuitable TV or computer. My 6 year old can watch Cbeebies or CBBC or kids stuff on Netflix and can choose which of these he wants to watch, but he's not given access to films rated 12, 15 or 18, and I am keeping a sufficiently close eye on what he's doing to make sure he hasn't switched that sort of stuff on. All of them use the computer in the public parts of the house so they aren't chatting to weirdos on social media or watching videos of people being beheaded on Youtube or downloading Call of Duty from Steam. Thinking that its not OK to let your kids do any of those things isn't being high handed and judgmental, and however tired and frazzled you are, its not an excuse to allow this.

Yes I know it's completely different, and I didn't say it WAS the same. I'm not daft! I KNOW it's a completely different scenario! Dear me!

I notice also that you have conveniently left THIS part of my post out.
I do agree though that this childminder is out of order, and I would be removing the child immediately, and reporting her.

I am guessing this is because you would not have been able to have a go at me, if you had posted my full post - because I DID SAY I think the childminder is WRONG!

You have wasted 5 minutes of your life typing this post. Maybe try reading people posts correctly before responding in future ??? And maybe don't just quote the bits of peoples posts that suit your agenda.
