Becoming addicted to collecting coins

Ive just got back from the hospital, the results were a X-ray of my hip, a discussion with the surgeon about my painkillers, booked CT scan, ultrasound to see whats happening in there, got another referral back to physio....

Still no idea whats happening or why I'm in pain, I am seeing the nerve man next month so I will see what he says...

A long day six hour round journey (got picked up at 5:45am) I suppose this time round I actually was in the hospital for around a hour rather then the 10 mins a few months back...

back to work tomorrow I just hope things ease off...

time for a coffee I will stay awake to make it through the evening....

Hope work is going ok today Westie. I also hope that long round-trip to the hospital wasn't too overtiring (and did you get a better driver this time?)

Are you still waking up at 4am? are you still doubling up on your meds or have you got different ones now?

hi my HB,

Work was okay I had a back to work interview and an informal dissusion on how they can help me and what the doctors said...

I am still waking up early morning and I'm only going to double up when I have what the doc called a "episode" as the painkillers send me to sleep and make me very groggy so not suitable when I have to work the next day...

I do have some good news though, today I completed my £1 collectors album, so next its the 50ps...



Another good news is I am still eating from my stores, i have just had a bowl of quorn chicken pieces with philidephia cooking sauce, then added a few bits of pasta - yum..

Im slowly getting some space in my freezer - next plan is to cook some of the three lamb shoulders which are taking up much of the middle drawer...

Love the £1 collectors album!! I think many of my £1 are fakes LOL - apparently there are huge numbers of them out there!

Have you found your bag of £1 and £2 coins yet?? Hope so xxx

No sign of the bag of £1/£2 :0(

but I managed to sell a few bits on bay of E today so that will go towards the last bit of my CC then its one less to worry about...

Just chilling for the next half hour or so before I have brownies..

yes I found that happened to me, its seemed like my setting had been changed to pay by e cheque, so I must remember to check what it has reverted too before I pay for anything, although I havent bought anything for a while just been selling to get some pennies for my pots....

its amazing what people buy and for what price, most of the stuff I list is what I would call junk or clothes that I just cant be bothered to take to the charity shops, the only anoying thing is that invoice you get a million years later after you have sold that vest top for 99p saying you owe 9p for fees....

I suppose every penny counts, its working for me at the moment, I go through spurts with bay of E then its gets on my wick and I stop for ages, then when I find I have a bag full of stuff to put on again I do a mammoth listing session and get myself £4 lol for £44 of effort....

ITS PAYDAY

I havent potted any coins - SHOCKER -

but I have just collected a tent I saw on gumtree for a bargain price of £10 I have got home and googledededed it and its says its approx£100 get in....


I am away with a local guide camp in august so will be good for that then I may put it back on bay of E to get some pennies back, I will see. I have my own tent which is a dome tent which just isn't suitable right now with my hip having having to get off the floor so I MAY keep this new one and sell my smaller one, (bank of mum and dad bought it when I was a young leader, so thats my pennie to keep right)

I love pay day, I love balancing YNAB, its becoming sad :0(

Thanks for the PM's Westie. Had a couple of NSD's so I'm happy. Still got the pain and the tablets aren't agreeing with me. I've got to go for more blood tests on wed too.

Good bargain on the tent. We are looking out for camping stuff so we can have cheap holidays. Got a cupboard full of clothes and bits to sell so need to start on that and have been able to harvest some goodies from the allotment.
