I am awake, my catch up sleep day :-)

I have no brownies the lovely little cherubs have broken up for the summer.

so what did the hospital say, well they couldnt replicate the clicking noise I hear when I walk which drives me crazy some days. He suggested i have a CT scan to see if things are still in line which i have agreed too, he said that he will see me in six months to keep me under review but not much he can do for the moment.

I am seeing the nerve man next month as this is my current issue and the one that is causing me a lot of issues. I am constantly tired and causing me to feel lethargic. I have booked in for a blood test next friday as this is my day of from work so they should be able to see how things are doing in my blood.

Was given more of my painkillers but was reviewed ands told to try and reduce the tramadol ones which i agreed as long as i don't have discomfort but to be honest i would prefer to be on less strong painkillers the day so i can still function during the day so lets see.

feel better today after my catch up sleep :-)

  • Glad you're feeling better Westie. My problem is in my jaw. My anxiety makes me clench and grind my teeth which initially caused a pain that went right through my ear like an electric shock.

Now the clicking has gone but it sounds like bubble wrap going off in my ear which is very annoying as its all the time. Hopefully having a scan on it but the doc says there's not much else they can do whereas dentist says I could have an op.

Still hating the painkillers and another four hours sleep last night xx

Westie how did the pain get started in the first place? Did you have an accident that started it all off?

When I had mega back pain and sciatica a few years ago it started out of nowhere really but I think it had been linked to wear and tear at work as I'd worked in libraries with all the pushing/pulling/lifting etc.

    Hope you're having a good w/e xx
