i am being taking to court as a 20year old said i changed lane into his brand new bmw
i was sitting in the middle lane in my range rover i was well in my lane when out of no where this bmw hits me and stops down the road his car ripped the left side off my bumper off his car had damage from the drives door back now my theory is that if he is travelling at 30mph and i did pull out and hit him surly the weight and force of the range rover would have pushed his car onto the curb or once it reached the rear of the bmw he would of spun out as he never braked till after the crash and the reaction time for me means i would have still accelerated if i did indeed hit him like he says and would he have still continued in a straight line

If this is a magistrates court, you should consider posting here:

It would help if you reformatted your first post. It's just one long sentence and is not easy to follow.0 -
its claims court which will also count as who was liable and if i am found liable i lose my compensation claim0
-
Have you informed your insurance that a claim which might cost them a serious amount of money is about to be heard in court ?
If they can not be bothered to help you defend it, let them foot the bill.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
no they have instructed a lawyer but this guy has added a witness 6 months after the crash0
-
Let the Lawyer deal with it, make it clear if they leave you undefended at court you will not act in their interests but your own, you insured against third party claims.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

yes i am insured against third party claims i just dont like the fact this guy is lien about having a witness0

I see you've posted on Pepipoo:

If your insurer has appointed a solicitor to defend the case, shouldn't you be asking them these questions given that the hearing is tomorrow?0 -
OP I think its a bit too late in the game now wish you luck though.0

all i want to know is that if he was travelling in a straight line at 30mph and i hit him as he said would he continue in a straight line or would the range rover due to weight have pushed his car onto the curb next to him or make him spin out as he said i hit him and he continued in a straight line0
