Renting a House - Boiler Query

Hi All,
I have a house rented out and the tenant is switching over to claim housing benefits for a short period of time. The Housing Executive came out and reviewed the house, they called me yesterday citing that they were happy with the house with the exception of having some concerns regarding the boiler. The oil boiler is located within a seperate room to the rear of the house within the main back porch. The HE have raised some concerns that this could be potentially dangerous and the representative has referred this to her senior Manager.
The boiler in question is relatively new being 14 months old and was serviced around one month ago, does this present a real danger to the occupants?

Why was the Housing Executive in the property in the first place?
Either way, unless Environment Health or the Health and Safety Executive issue a warning which requires action, i dont see any reason for action.0 -
I believe they were assessing its suitability for renting to a family.0

Apart from a basic knowledge, how can an unqualified (in boilers) "Housing Executive" know what constitutes a danger or not ?0 -
The girl who called me alarmed me when she stated the boiler's location was an issue.
I rented the property via an EA, however the tenant is now on benefits.0 -
Who installed the boiler? Was it an OFTEC registered engineer/company? (though unlike gas, there is no obligation to use an OFTEC engineer).
Was the installation signed off by Building Control? Did the OFTEC installaller sign it off on behalf of Building Control?

The boiler was always situated where it is and was so when I bought the house, all I did was have a plumber install the boiler and a registered boiler person commission it.0 -
