  • It sounds like your job is incredibly rewarding, but challenging too, and I'm sure it can't be easy. Keep up the good work :)
Easier said than done, I know, but if you can hold your head high, and know that you've done a good days work, then the rest can go whistle ;) xx

Your job sounds extremely rewarding Levi and something very difficult not to take home with you, I'm sure.

I can understand why you were stressed about being late to pick LL up too, I have the mad dash on the motorway every night too, with 10 minutes to spare, it's stressful isn't it. Still, at least all ended fine.

Use your extra time tonight to chill out a bit eh, sounds like you need it and will do you the world of good.

    Take it easy honey

There was so ething in this week's email from martin about a letter to send to banks when their 'fees' send you over your overdraft limit. Didn't read, but thought of you. Maybe worth a shot...? Enjoy the extra child-free time x

Thanks for that apple - I'll try & find it:)

Deffo had a nice bit of bonus time this evening, went running with O, & a bit of cleaning and laundry done-re-kondo'd the fresh stuff ;) and then did rest of LL's eBay clothes that came the other day - most of the bits (39 in total) will be great for him and cross-season, so it was money well spent.

Can't believe the clocks go forward this weekend..and it's actually Easter next weekend.. Time is going mad fast. I'm off to my mums next Thursday evening until Sunday... with the hope little niece or newphew has arrived by then so we can say hi:A And it turns out my mum has a spare double duvet in storage so will take that home for LL's room.

LL came home from swimming and is extra tired - is in his Pjs just watching a bit of TV as no bath needed tonight-- but will shuffle him off to bed in the next 20 mins.. He has been making it until about 2-3am in his bed the past few nights which is a big improvement because it means I don't disturb him when I go to bed and can also watch TV in my room and do stuff with the light on for a while.. luxury:cool: He had a nice time at the pool and had chicken fajitas which were apparently awesome and way better than anything he ever gets fed here :o

Have a good evening kids! :heart2:

Which of course isn't true about the chicken fajitas being nicer than anything he gets at home!! Isn't if funny how little ones always seems to think anything away from home/ cooked by someone else's parents/ etc is shamazing???? It's just the novelty factor I think! And you cook brilliant meals Levi! x

Really glad you mentioned that as neither of these were on my radar as happening so soon (us kid free people don't have school holidays to remind us what's happening when). Wouldn't be the first time I'd turned up somewhere an hour early or late due to missing the onset of summer time. They were not happy at work one year when I turned up at 7am on a Sunday morning and dragged them out of bed.:o

My mum's next door neighbour used to bring me in plates of her home-made soup as it was much nicer than mums. Guess what I found out years later :rotfl:.
