^ Thanks Birdddy.. .. he was learning to brush his teeth but all he wanted to do at that stage was eat the toothpaste...he would scream the place down if we wouldn't let him have more toothpaste......! still has a thing about it now tbh but at least he's always liked brushing his teeth :Dxx

FAB to hear you sounding so upbeat about it all. A practical approach is best and you're right, you are a fantastic dad and you get the best of it because you have him for the other 46 weeks of the year including his birthday, Christmas... definitely the best of it.

Spanish eh.. get you!! I've got just about passable French and German, which allows me to understand but not speak Spanish and Italian. I would LOVE to be able to speak them all fluently.

I love the picture of Luca. How old was he then? Jelly is precisely the same with her toothpaste, sucking it off. Although she is MUCH better now, she still screams the place down when I have to do the mummy brush each day.

Really proud of you... I mean it honestly. Letting the unhealthy person go.. that is really incredibly strong. I hope you know, because I've had those kind of relationships and it isn't easy even when you KNOW deep down it is bad for you.

You're doing so well on all levels. I think Luca is going to come back to a bonafide super daddy (with possible spanish translator gf? ) and the break will be fantastic for both of you.

6 weeks of time for yourself... I'd hate it but man I could whip myself into shape in that time.

All good today thanks! A beautiful day in Brighton so I enjoyed the drive and had a nice lunch al-fresco (catering from the training, brought outside to the lawn! - no spendies).. training was excellent, the trainer was great, a well respected employment lawyer who was generous with his time and his answering of questions afterwards.

cooked steamed salmon and veg for tea which i had with a pita bread. just been for a run with ozzydog, always see my same "dog walking" crew when out so had a couple of nice chats with oscar's dog friends and their humans!.... they all noticed the lack of my little human so i told them he is away for a bit.
off for a long shower.. then a chillax with some rubbish t.v.. then bed.. and another day crossed off and only one more full day until pay day on friday. hope you are all doing well guys x x x x x
