You are a brilliant dad Levi, and showing that by being strong for the goodbyes, although I am sure you are breaking up inside and also away from here. But you know you are loved by everyone here, are doing a grand job raising LL and smashing the way through your debts. His time away will fly by, promise and as you say you can talk with him on Skype and the phone. Make the most of the time you can spend doing adult things and going out for a run etc. You can always post on here and PM if you need to. Take care. Billie xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Hey you
Sorry, long time no speak, life's getting in the way a bit presently.
Hope you're doing ok and that LL got off ok. It sounds like you did a really good job priming him for the trip and he left a happy bunny, looking forward to seeing his awesome Daddy again on his return.
He's going to have an absolute blast and I bet he'll be bursting with so much to tell you when he gets back!
A different scenario, but as you know, I struggled with my little one not being with me when he first started staying at his Dad's some nights. I felt utterly bereft the first week and couldn't even go in his room without breaking down. Now though, I've come to accept he's fine, he's happy, he's safe and I try and look at the time to get things done I couldn't normally do and 'recharge' myself so I'm the best Mummy I can be for when he's back with me again.
Maybe you could view it in a similar fashion - take time out to spoil yourself and do all the things you can't do when you have a little person in tow. Pamper yourself a bit and sort your environment out to be absolutely primed and perfect for when he's back. It'll recharge your batteries and make you an even better parent after having a break - honest.
We're all here if you need some cheery-upping remember - you just have to shout!

Hello Mr.
How are you today? I echo both BILLIE & Me&O. I feel like a lost cause without Jelly around. My need to be doing something takes over and the house ends up sparkling, rooms get painted, and just.. things are done. I can't sit still, or stop fidgeting long enough to watch a programme. And thats just when she is at nursery.
You're not going to enjoy the next few days. I can't lie to you. But you do need to make a plan of action, and do stuff. With Ozzy, with friends. Cook. Go out running. Try and fill your day. And as you get into that routine, it will become a bit easier.
We are always here to chat to. Most of us know the bereft feeling when your little world goes somewhere. We are here to support you.
Well done for being so brave saying goodbye. Such a good dad. xx
