Well hello Levi, I too have delurked. Just want to say I think you are fab and I look forward to your posts everyday. As you can see I am not a good sleeper! Have you contacted step change about your debts (sorry if you have and I hadn't picked up on it! They would be able to come to an arrangement with your creditors which would be more manageable than what you are doing (they stop the interest so that your payments are reducing your debt) and I think they would allow you more money for yourself than what you are trying to live on. This has been my experience anyway.0

Hi Levi, do you remember my ppi you helped me get? Well I got Ben on the school trip to France with it, and this morning at 4am I waved him off on the coach, 8 hours to Dover. I held it together till I got back in the car, and then my face started leaking. Its just been me and him since he was 2 weeks old, I was very brave and let him go. So thanks again, his first ever trop abroad and I thank you immensley xxx:T0

Well done Levi on helping Mummymandy with her PPI claim. Look what a difference you have made to someone's life and their little boy!! Sad to have waved him off for his adventure today but free time for mummy and a real fun time for her son!!!
Chin up mate. You will get there. Although you struggle in life remember your own struggle and the way you are dealing with it is helping others too!! There will be light at the end of the tunnel!! You will get there one day at a time but you need to keep going and going!! You will have bad days and good days throughout but remember you will get there in the end!! Whatever way you do it you will get there.

Ahh Mandy that is truly amazing! I am so happy about that
I know he will have an amazing trip. Don't you worry about him! (Easier said than done I know, but relax and make the most of it safe in the knowledge that he is OK). I had a letter from Barclays today about my Morgan Stanley credit card and possible PPI but it's a non-runner.. nevermind, worth a shot. Just being greedy I suppose
Kept LL off again today so he can recoup some more. Spoke to his school and they have been understanding. He will go back after half-term feeling much better I'm sure. Only around a month until his US trip now too which is making me increasingly nervous but will think about that more nearer the time. The main obstacle now is to get over is heading to Manchester to get my mums results on Tues.. so me and LL will head up this weekend and probably stay until Weds. I am back to work next Thurs but FGN is going to help with LL on those 2 days. I am worried sick about my mums results but praying for the best outcome, aka, not the Big C.
Today has been productive. Jobs done arond the flat. LL resting watching Go Diego Go. Popped out to the market to see if I could get one of those GIANT zip up laundry bags to store LL's single duvet and all the other bedding stuff together which has been strewn around for too long. Found one! Had enough in cash in my wallet £4, so can now get on sorting and storing those away in there, been meaning to do that for ages.
Updated music on iPod for the road trip.
Having a small rest now wth a sarnie and then need to do the daddy-bit repairing one of LL's toys if I can, again something he has been on at me for ages to do. FGN gave Ozzy a parma-ham bone and he has literally been chewing it for HOURS. Crazy mutt! When we took him for a walk this morning we ran into 2 of his best dog friends, which are a pair of golden retriever brothers, haven't seen for a while but epic timing due to having LL with me and we all know how animal crazy he is. It was a big love fest! Beautiful gorgeous dogs and so gentle with LL and Ozzy.

PS: HI RabbitLady! Thanks for joining. I have looked into it and had long chats with StepChange earlier in year but decided that is not something I want to do, due to hopefully wanting to buy a house one day and worrying about the impact of a DMP. For now I can make it work but it is always an option if the wheels fall off big time.x
PPS Thanks Edwink and lub ya lots x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Hey you
I am sending you all of my best wishes and prayers for your mums results. We are here no matter the outcome, and although it might seem like the end of the world if it is a not great diagnosis, I am right here living 250 miles away from mum while she goes through it, and I know Me&O and even NOA are dealing with similar with their parents - plenty of support and help here hun.
Am not thinking like that though. She will be fine & it will be nothing. So keep your chin up!
Glad LL has been able to rest. And school have been OK about it. Lol at the doggy love festkids and animals. You can't go far wrong with either! xx

Laundry bag - wish you'd told me... would've happily made LL a personalised one which would've cost you nil pennies!
Gotta run, but fingers and everything crossed for your Mum's results next week. Like Lilty said, even if the news isn't great, there's plenty of us who have been living with this for years, so can offer lots of support and advice.

Levi-
re buying a house one day....is this a far in the future thing? Within 6 years (although not sure if that is start or end of DMP) it all falls off your credit record.
Get through thursday, and then I think you need to start to plan what you are going to do while LL is away, and try to make plans for every single day to keep yourself busy (they can be free plans, I encourage free plans but plans none the less).
Thinking of you

^ Hey Mars, probably not in the next 6 years...
I dunno , the whole thing of external intervention makes me a little uneasy and I'm still confident I can get a grip of this and put everything back together "on my own" so that;s the plan.
Good call on staying busy when LL is away..I'm sure work will help me with that too...
have a good weekend peeps- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -
