Travel safely Levi and please don't think I am being harsh but you can't change the outcome of mum's appointment. I am an orphan in having lost both my parents, mum to breast cancer in '88 and dad very suddenly in '97 to a heart attack. I was so fortunate to have had the little time I had with my parents and I so envy friends who have had their parents in to their '90's. I wish all of you the happiest of times, the healthiest of times and wealthiest of times. We can't change mortality, but we can make those memories to keep with us and hope you are all able to do that..... sorry haven't meant to upset anyone .... xxxx But also meant to say am here for you all xx

Levi I'm a new lurker who has seen how much support you give to others & just wanted to say you sound like a lovely person & I also hope that your mum is fine.

I think you are obviously a great dad to realise that LL needs down time. It takes a special daddy to pick up on that. I know I'm older but I'm shocked about how little play time kids get nowadays.

Your mum is lucky to have you no matter how snappy she is. We all deal with stuff in different ways even though the snapping hurts you.

Me and my little road dogs are off to Manky now..... if not before, I will post after my Mums results, her appointment is at about 4pm on Tues - she has now said that she doesn't want a "crowd".. so it looks like it will be me just waiting in the car park or something.. and just my dad going in with her.. oh well... at least I will be close to hand if it's bad.
Stay safe little ones! I will be back home on Weds late morning. And back to work on Thurs... *gulp..*.. have almost forgotten what work is..haven't been there since May 1st! ...Oh well, it's like riding a bike. And as much of a pain in the a$$. xxxxxx
