Work was easy today. I have the whole day off tomorrow. The plan is to buy some slug pellets and do a bit of gardening. I might also fill in a driving licence form. I'm going to give myself some targets every day to get the house in order. Lots of little jobs need doing like the skirting boards need dusting, I also have to sort out a pile of presents for my friends from the last year! I have four weeks till my parents visit to get it perfect.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Bite size is easier than looking at everything.
Enjoy your day off and please do not work.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thank you MF i am not doing any deliberately. I have just walked back from garden centre with 2 lots of slug pellets and some dianthus plants. £17 i used my Christmas fund. My petunias have been planted out front so the front garden is all coordinated with lavendar and purple plants now. I would like some more purple petunias.
I have bought a driving licence form and will fill in v soon. I have an old one from a few years ago i will just copy it. I am taking the rest of the day off.
My blood sugar was so high and then low (all self inflicted by comfort eating!) so in the end i rested and didnt do any weeding. lol I will do that this week. I am hoping to fill in my driving licence form this week at work.
We are all feeling a bit sorry for ourselves at work if we have had wage cuts. It is v frightening. I dont think i can get another job now they wont be advertised till next year so I will have to learn to drive so i can escape.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
It's not too late to buy seeds and have them flowering this year, works out cheaper and towards the end let them self-seed as new ones will grow next year. Or keep the seed heads and scatter them next year.
Would it be worth keeping an eye on adult education places, see if jobs pop up, apply and those few hours a week could replace what you're losing with your current role?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I will MF. Thank you.
Reminder to self remember after work the weeding needs doing in back garden. \i have done a few mins and am tired. I will do some more later.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
