The food was, but we did loads of packing and tidying for Andy's mum who is moving house so I am hoping I burnt off a few calories too.

Today was busy at work and I did a food shop. A kind colleague gave me a lift. hurrah.

Sounds like a fabulous break in Lymington SW, and it also sounds like you massively deserved it.

Moving house is a killer in terms of exercise isn't it?? I tend to use it as an excuse for justifying a chippie tea :D When's the big move happening? Are you helping with that too?

Hello ladies, I love this inspiration malarkey. I have been inspired by all the amazing posters on MSE. It has changed my life around. Long may it continue.

Pinky, in answer to your point, Andy's mum is moving closer to the boys in next few weeks she is waiting for the buyer to confirm the date. We are going up tomorrow. I'm catching the early early train tomorrow to Lymington (lol)and then we are travelling to Dorset to help her to tidy the house. Luckily she has professional movers for the box moving etc.

I think it will be easier if we all help her as she is so nice and I love being with the boys as they are great.

I'm coming back on Sunday. The temperature will be even hotter tomorrow at least 27 but Steve says it may be 30!!!!! I fell asleep after work as I was so tired but I am not complaining. I love a good heatwave!!!!!!

Ps it was payday today. Hurrah. I have enough to cover my credit card. I am still waiting for new bank switch paperwork and details to come through although they okayed it. I am going to try to minimise all wasteful spending over the summer as I have everything I could want. From now on I will save, save, save. Onwards and upwards people.

I arrived back in the afternoon and did my laundry, mopping and vacuuming. I was v tired due to the heat.

I feel rather posh as Steve has given me his old super duper does everything but fly phone for a bargain price of £120-:j:j I paid him £100. I still owe him £20 and will pay it next month. I owe my dad £40 and will pay him when he comes in two weeks. I am giving my old phone to my dad.

This summer holiday is only two weeks away and I am going to be only spending on essentials. I hope I can make a bit from my summer job. I would like this money to go to savings. Every little helps. Last year I got almost a £1000.

lol Dolly. How are you? i could have sworn i saw a post from Dolly but now it has gone? Maybe it's the heat!!!!

Oooh hello Skinty it is the same job. I am soooo excited. I fancy going to Stonehenge and Oxford and hope i lose some weight as i am not fit at all. lol.

It is so hot today and it is my day off. I have been tidying my paperwork. I weeded the paths too and mowed the grass when the sun calmed down for a few mins. I am refusing to iron unless it totally cools down. I might have to do the 4 items a day challenge.

I have picked some great strawberries and raspberries over the last week or so. Yum and free too.

I feel you on the heat and the ironing SW - I made fish pie for dinner yesterday and by the time I got it in the oven, I'd completely lost my appetite from the heat of the kitchen  Fortunately, my meal plan for this week only involves cooking every other day as the in between days are leftover from the previous night!

And I echo the ooooooooooh  to the new phone! Enjoy!! I'm using my husbands old one. He had it on a 2 year contract and I've had it for a good three years so it's getting towards the end of its life now (it's started randomly turning itself off, invariably just as I've got to the end of typing a long message or email and just before I send it!).

Strawberries and raspberries sound delicious! I really need to make a plan for the garden - the flowerbeds are still completely empty after I had the whole garden redone!
