It's nice outside. Quite bright and cheerful I have done washing and hung it out.
Oven has been cleaned. I even got handyman to pull out the glass and cleaned that.
I didn't go to the supermarket for flowers I am not buying excess things and can hold on for a few more days.
Handyman got rid of weeds and will be back tomorrow to take down bedroom furniture.
It is 16degrees out there. OMG. Lovely. I have mowed all of the grass. It was v easy as I only did it recently. I think this is what retirement is like. I hope I keep my job. I am dying to go back.
Watching every penny has meant that I have paid in £20 extra into my Happiness Fund for emergencies as I didn't spend it this month.
3days till payday.

I was doing so well. So well. I even told Snozberry not to buy on fleabay.
Then Steve rang me this morning with details of a bedside cabinet going cheap. The lady is going to deliver it here for me as she works by me. In total including delivery this has set me back £20. It's going out of my food money as I have made plans for everything in my bank account.
I don't like the beside cabinets in my dad's room so I have wanted to change them for a while. This was such a good price.
Just going to use the rest of my grocery money for food in visit to supermarket. I am going to walk there and back. I spent £26. Including £5 on reduced price sugar free polos saving a mint. lol.
I have been looking around identifying areas where I can plant the gladioli bulbs. That's plenty for today.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

OMG half of the wardrobes are down. I forgot the 1970s tiles and the naff wallpaper I inherited when I moved in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
To save money we might be pulling up the flooring in the hallway and putting it in the gaps we've uncovered in the bedroom as it matches rather than redoing the flooring in the bedroom as it will cost a fair bit. The ceiling will need to be redone and also the walls need to be replastered. Still the room looks much bigger.
I have just bid on a fab chest of drawers for £45 I negotiated it down from £50. Slapping it on the credit card. It will go in spare room as dad's wardrobe is full of my stuff and I want to clear some space for them. The handyman will collect on Thursday.
To do tomorrow -- [STRIKE]A friend is taking me out for coffee insisting that I have become a hermit. I like being a hermit but it will be nice to catch up. Hope my voice lasts. I paid as he has done so much to help me during illness. Throat kills. (£20 Wickham is expensive).
[/STRIKE] - [STRIKE]Tidy up after builder. He is busily taking wardrobes down the room will be so much larger.
[/STRIKE] - [STRIKE]Meet lady who is bringing bedside cabinet and pay her £20
[/STRIKE] - if possible clean grill window in oven (not done as ran out of time)
I have no money till payday. Ive spent all of my spending money for this month. One day left. It's fine as I have lots of food.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 - [STRIKE]A friend is taking me out for coffee insisting that I have become a hermit. Next time we are going for tea with his wife and son to the V&A in London. Wonder how much that will cost us? I also bought a few slices of carrot cake for his wife and son as they are on hols but will be back soon. They are really nice to me. lol.
I'm going to be v careful next month. So far I have only put £50 on my credit card bill.
How are you?
My throat kills after this morning. OMG you wont believe the mould and damp behind the bedroom wardrobe it's awful. I was right.
I am just sending a video of the damp to Steve and Susan. OMG. It is Dickensian. Bloody hell I feel like Little Dorrit.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
oooh V&A .....that sounds exciting. I couldn't resist having a look at their website - hot drinks £2.65 - £2.95 lol but its free admission !
Oops cross posted lol. The damp sounds awful SW hope its not going to cost too much to get it fixed. The mould probably isn't helping your throat either. Try not to breathe it in whilst its being disturbed0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It's soooo exciting. Ive opened all the windows and left builder to it. I might go and put a cover on the bed though as he's forgotten. He will bring a cover tomorrow and I am going to wash all the duvet covers etc then as per his instructions. I have no idea how much this will cost I hope its not a lot of my Happiness Fund.
Bedside cabinet arrived. I will tidy out dad's room tomorrow there are currently about 12 sacks of stuff from my room! Builder will pick up my chest of drawers tomorrow afternoon for dad's room too. The room must be tidy by Monday as that is when dad's coming.
Throat kills chatting for 1.5 hours has finished it off but at least I know I am definitely getting better.
I called M and cancelled V&A posh meal to celebrate his birthday. As in a few days we are also going to Ideal Home Show with the MSE crowd and it might end up being too expensive - 3dogs, Steve, Andy and also Crafty Hants. M might go to that with his wife. We shall see.
jobs to do tomorrow & for rest of the week:- [STRIKE]sort out parents bedroom
- tidy up after builder
[/STRIKE] - do work for work
- [STRIKE]tell dr I am talking and much better than last week

It has been a wonderful day. So much has fallen into place. Throat really hurt today -after yesterday's talking and it hurts to breathe. More than usual.
I have puffed and panted and put all the plastic bags out of parents room into the kitchen (large room), asked the lovely handyman to carry in the bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. He is not at all happy with the state of the chest of drawers - I don't care I am just so grateful I will be able to move the bedsheets and towels out of my parents wardrobe. In the summer I can rub it down and varnish it.
My bedroom chest of drawers was taken to the tip today and the bed and tv were put in the lounge. It looks like a building site.
I am too exhausted to even sweep the floor it is full of dust and bits of wood. I have opened the windows in my bedroom and it can all breathe and rest until tomorrow as I am shattered.
Am dying for a KFC or chips but no money till payday as I spent the last of my cash on bedside cabinet. Nevermind, I am off to sleep as I am utterly exhausted. Payday tonight, hurrah.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
