BT infinity dropouts

I upgraded to BT Infinity unlimited just over a week ago. Very happy with increase speeds but I am getting dropouts every few minutes which is infuriating. The hub stays "blue" as if connected, but I keep losing the connection for a short while, usually less than a minute. It also causes a loss of connection in my sky wi fi connector so I have to restart it to reconnect to the hub to access "on demand". Anybody had this problem or have advice on how to fix it?

No help Andrew, but I'm having EXACTLY the same problem!
I've had Infinity for 9 months now and the dropping out has started in last 2 weeks. The most infuriating part is constantly having to re-boot the Sky WiFi, so I feel your pain and will be interested in any other replies...0 -
Are the dropouts over WiFI ???
As its a blue light on this reads like your wireless equipment not the Internet. Infinity .
Have you tried the BT user forums ??
Rebooted your router reset router WiFi.0 -
BT have no responsibility for the wifi reception within the property, that's a user issue. Connect using ethernet and retest. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks for the quick responses. I have checked the BT user forums but I can't see the exact problem. I have done a reset - no difference. Never had a problem on ordinary BT broadband which I had before.0

Test via Ethernet connection from the master socket .
Changing the WiFi channel on your router may help .
Android phone or tablet and you can download a wifi analytical tool .
Router has a help tool also .0 -
We used to have dropouts every few hours with BT Infinity. Switched to Sky Fibre and had no problems at all. No idea if Sky is better or the new router/homehub is better, but we have had less complete dropouts on the broadband0

Router is a possibility but you have to rule everything else out first . 90% of returned routers to any ISP are found to be fault free .0
