I bought a pork loin join from the freezer section in Lidls the other week and not sure now what to do with it as I've never bought this kind of joint before.
Boil it, roast it, cut it up for something....confused.
What would you do with it....If possible would like to get a meal and a soup from it.
Have lentils in and also some apple sauce frozen from my apple tree.0 -
Hi toffee,
You can either carve it up to make steaks or use it as a joint. These earlier threads may help:

Pork loin steaks need using up
I'll add your thread to the first link later.

i do a korean dish called bulgogi (sp) , slice up the meat thinly, marinade in soy sauce, sliced spring onions, sesame seeds and a dash of sesame oil. can be left for hours or 30 mins. fry with very little oil and serve with rice and stir fried veggies.
tastes yum and can be done with most meatsNonny mouse and Proud!!

Take the bone out and fill the resulting hole with stuffing of your choice (or roll it round if it's then an open flat piece of pork) then roast - yummy!0
