HSBC Advance Save Together

  • the £299 will go towards 6% regular saver with HSBC or FD. Rather than staying in the ISA for 1.4%.

Unfortunately I have applied late for current account and so haven't even opened my Loyalty ISA, infact current account is taking ages to process.

Hopefully the wait will be worth it.

I got a letter from HSBC saying that you dont have to keep the money in the ISA as long as you make the £25 a month into the account or the £300 lump sum you will continue to get the £10.

so you as long as you have started to receive the £10 and got confirmation that you have qualified you have no issue taking the money back out again.

    Hi MoneySavers,

I expect the answer is yes but could anyone confirm for me; does the initial opening amount count towards the £25pm/£300 Save together requirement. Had a look through the T&Cs but couldn't find clarification.

    Many thanks,

I got an email today from HSBC saying that they will be withdrawing the deal on 11th December from new subscription.
    2nd Aug, 15: £276k. 18th Sep, 15: £269k. 30th Oct, 15: £265k.
  • A very complicated email for a few simple changes, here is the part about the withdrawal (already subscribed):
Withdrawal of Save Together On 11 December 2015, Save Together will be withdrawn for those customers who haven't made an eligible payment*1 into their HSBC Loyalty Cash ISA. As you've already activated Save Together by making a single monthly payment of £25 or more, we'll continue to make the £10 additional interest payments into your HSBC Loyalty Cash ISA for up to the remainder of your 12 month term which started from the date of your first eligible payment*1, as long as you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.

We'd like to reassure you that the withdrawal of Save Together doesn't affect your right and access to all the other HSBC Advance Bank Account benefits that are available to you.

For more information please refer to the updated Save Together Summary and Save Together Terms and Conditions that are shown in this email below. We recommend you read these carefully and keep this email in a safe place for future reference.
Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!

Can I just have some clarification about the HSBC Save Together ISA , please?

I have finally managed to upgrade to an Advance Account and have already opened the Reg Saver

I would like to open a Save Together ISA for the extra £120 pa

What is the best way to open it as I want to transfer £300 from a maturing ISA? (funds available 01/10/15)
in Branch or over the phone?

I have tried reading through this thread but can't find the detail I want.
I seem to remember that people had difficulty transferring in if they opened the ISA on line.
    many thanks
