My post wasn't aimed at people who want to use this years allowance it was in relation to the question that you needed to transfer all of your allowance into the loyalty isa to qualify for the offer to which I was explaining that you don't have to transfer all of your allowance or any of your previous allowance to qualify and if you just wanted to fund £300 then put money elsewhere then you can, as some people like myself get more interest outside of an isa even if the pay interest....

I just tried to change my HSBC Bank Account to an Advance Account over the phone to take advantage of the save together offer, however at the end of the phone call, the person said it was 'referred' and he had to send a memo to the branch, as he didn't have authorisation to do something, and he couldn't tell me what it was he needed to do/info he needed. Very vague, said I'd get a phone call with a decision. Couldn't say when.

Odd. Opened a First Direct account a few weeks ago with no problem.

    FOr the benefit of all

Just want to inform, I just checked it, I got my £10 reward, even the lumpsum money come from the old ISA subscription.

This is the first time I got HSBC adviser/CS advising me the wrong thing when I raise this issue in this forum. Normally all of HSBC CS are accurate in giving info ...

To be honest you are making a much bigger deal out of this than need be.

In my time on MSE I have never had a provider say that they cannot get the offer when transferring in because the subscriptions aren't this years. There is no validity to it. Nowhere in the T&Cs does it say the transfer has to be money from current years subscription, it says transfers are allowed. It is 100% clear that if you transfer money, you get the £10 offer.

My £10 was also paid today. I transferred a lump sum from a previous year's ISA allowance.

I have had no £10 yet on an ISA opened on April 6. Sure it will be added sometime before the month is out.

HSBC have rectified their mistake, when I log into Internet Banking it no longer says 'LOY ISA BANK' and is now showing correctly as 'LOY ISA ADV'. :)

All working fine for me now - The 1st £10 payment got paid 20th May into the Loyalty ISA (ISA opened online 10th April), credit is showing as 'Save Together' in internet banking.

    It says:
"We'll make our £10 additional interest payments between the 11th and 31st of the month following the month you make an eligible payment."

As you paid on April 6 (e.g. before April 11) , You should receive it by 31st this month ..
