Weekly email BT Fibre deal is a bit of a scam.

Well, they appear to have restored the offer. It wasn't there at 16:45.
Maybe the online chat and confirmation of its absence, together with this posting, has embarrassed them, or MSE has had a word. Either way, let's hope it remains until the scheduled deadline.
Both screenshots were taken within 5 minutes of each other around 4pm so it seems it has been there at least since then.
Are you 100% sure you went through the email link rather than a different way? It was an affiliate offer and wouldn't show if you didn't access it though the link.0 -
It was their before that time just read the thread.
I don't know what you're on about.
I chatted online about its absence, before beginning the order, and the customer rep confirmed it wasn't available.
Secondly, I slowly guided my father through the order process, discovering, like yesterday, it wasn't there.
Thirdly, after the session timed-out, we completed the order roughly around 16:45.
I fail to see the logic of denying what was in front of us, as confirmed by a BT employee who looked at the order page herself.
Anyway, I'm moving on to something else.0 -
Yes, I took the promo page at its word too, which was why I was slightly annoyed at being taken for a sucker.
If you click through and begin the order, the option isn't available. However, you are offered 2 versions of line rental: one for £16.99 and another for £18.99, with priority engineer repairs, etc, supposedly.
I've sorted it, but it's all a bit fishy.
Thanks.
I've just had exactly the same problem when I signed up this evening. I tried all ways to get the pay upfront line rental option but it just wasn't there. As the offer finishes this evening I went ahead with the monthly line rental but hoping I can somehow change it.
I was also surprised to see my earliest installation date as 24th March, I cancelled with sky today so I could find myself without service for a week which won't go down well with the OH & DS!0
