    I did take a few from the outside but there is too much reflection from the sky, you couldn't see anything.
    I will try to take another when you can see through (it's beneath the black rectangle, the silver dot is the rain sensor).

    I have a Volvo but the mirror setup looks very similar; mine has rain sensors and city safety (auto braking) all built in behind the mirror within a black plastic case, so I can't fit a camera where benje302 or kirkofski have there's which is how I wanted.

    When I can afford a new car, I'll come back & reread this thread fro the links & observations.
    I might be well advised to spend a bit of a few updating driving lessons first, trying to break a few acquired bad habits...

    The bottom of the plastic surround on mine is flat so I drilled a hole. A few pics

    I have seen BlackVue camera.
    They look amazing. Bit pricey though.

    But would love to have one.
