DFS sale price question

Hi all
I want to buy a sofa from DFS, currently its £799 "reduced" from £1500ish, I am buying a new home and cant order the sofa until the move date it confirmed. The current sale ends 24th Feb, we all know another sale is around the corner but do they normally increase prices back up on some sofas during different sales or do they generally stay the same.
Thanks

Go to an independant retailer and spend a few minutes sitting on something that really is worth £1500 . . . like a La-Z-Boy, a G Plan or a Parker Knoll.
You'll soon realise that DFS don't sell anything that's worth £1500.
If DFS are selling it for £799 then it's probably worth £199 . . . if that !0 -

Competely agree.
Ask DFS when the product you want to buy was sold at the higher price and for how long,0 -

If you get an adult to read my post with you, you might find there is no mention of SCS.0 -
If the sale ends on 24th Feb then that probably means that the new sale doesn't begin at least until Feb 25thI can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

To be fair, DFS have learn't from everytime the ASA or Trading Standards have waved their naughty finger at them.
The sofa will have been for sale . . . somewhere . . . for £1500ish . . . but not necessarily on display.

Gosh, well, if the website tells you to buy from SCS then you better buy from them then hadn't you.
Personally, I wouln't even step foot on the type of retail park that they seem to favour.
But, each to their own I say. If you want to do business with a faceless conglomerate, owned by a shady hedge fund thats funded through several channels of offshore banking arrangements then bully for you.
At least with DFS you know that Lord Kirkham owns it and you know where he lives when it all goes belly up.0 -

Surely as you recommend la z boy the money saving thing to do is buy it from the cheapest retailer is it not?
Our local Toyota dealer is on one of those sites so I can safely shop there in the knowledge I won't bump into you in sainsburys.:D0 -
