I saved this image of the Q terms from before the £100 minimum was added, it was posted on one of the other threads, thanks to that OP I forgot who it was.

This is missing from the image:
"2. The information given in these Terms and Conditions is correct, but Q reserve the right to change any of the below without prior notice."

    maybe they've seen this post...;)

It was supposed to be paid out by the end of February,

Does anyone know what might happen if I order 2x 2l Pepsi max vs T tomorrow? Today they are 2f£2 and tomorrow they change over to bogof. I'm happy with either price, there's only 2p in it, but wanted to make sure there's no "limbo" between the old and new prices where msm would see them as full price:eek:

    Anyone got any ideas please?

Not a womble to be seen in my Tesco car park ,I would have walked round again but grandson was ready for his dinner and daughter was rolling her eyes at me ,£7.50 c/b is not to be sniffed at so I will have a look tomorrow on my own.

Uglybugball, as perky seems to be off line, and the alphabetties thread has ground to a halt for the lack of a MSE user whose user name starts with the letter U, would you be willing to go say hello to the alphabetties and be the U please?

  • I think it all depends what time the price you pay at the till changes in your store. In the case of a C&C I suppose it also depends either on when the picker is finished picking or when you actually collect. No idea when the transaction actually goes through.

I think that when prices go down in A it probably happens at midnight or very early in the morning. The fact that the price of something is lower than the SEL is not a problem as nobody complains about that and the SAs have as long as they want to change each SEL.

My theory is that there are two possibilities for when prices go up in A..

    1) Each store works to the same specific time in the morning to get all their SELS updated to the correct price. The time is the same nationally and will mostly be adhered to to avoid customer complaints and loads of £2 giftcards being given out.

    2) Each store has their own switch to flick when they are happy that all the cheaper SELS on all the now more expensive products in their store have been removed, thus avoiding overcharging.

Just theories at this stage, but hopefully someone might find something in the morning which might prove or disprove them.
Or my post above could just be a load of old boloney..:rotfl:

Just been to my local and they have taken the current 97p SELS off the shelves and put full price £2.29 ones on. By doing this they will not now be overcharging anyone and have given themselves time to put up the new SELS tomorrow morning.

Makes me think that this is what most stores probably do, however we have seen lower prices paid and higher apg comparisons made, so there is still hope..;)
