Hi all, haven't been about the last couple of days RL got in the way grrr, Tiny sorry I didn't see your message until this morning, where did Ruth finish?? I've read the last couple of pages but haven't got time to go right back would anyone mind telling me the radix glitch with a brush??
I am doing my sister a advent calendar for a countdown to her wedding, I need 10 small gifts in total and was wondering if any of you have any ideas, the last day I have written a letter for and I have a couple of ideas but thought you lovely lot would probably come up with ideas I won't have thought of if anyone cares to give me suggestions please xShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »I believe that there is a possible glitch available on the 500ml Radox bath soaks that are £1.90 each and in the same 3 for £3 offer as the mini toiletries.
We should all know by now that the empty Sienna travel bottle and the Siena hairbrush are both triggers in this offer, however I have identified a few other possibles this time which should give you more choice if you are interested in this potential glitch.
So, here's the deal. Buy 2 flavours of Radox in the offer (like this one), with a trigger for £3 and get £2 back. Most compare well to T, some to S and some to M.
Now to the triggers. Well I have had a play on A.com and msm and have come up with these. They are all in the offer on A.com and are all unavailable in A on msm.:DOther possible triggers are;

I can't help you in the sence of what you can and can't claim credit wise or guidance with employment law etc as I didn't receive any other than tax credit and family allowance but I can offer practical advice...
I gave up a full time job, one that I loved when my mat leave finished... This also had a really good pension.
It's was 6mnths back then, I was offer offered part time but on my employers terms which weren't the same as mine. In all fairness it was a truly difficult decision financially. But the best decision for my DD, I couldn't face leaving her with a complete stranger at 6 months and nursery fees would take most of what I would have earned. My parents weren't able to look after her.
I had a decent wage which we did miss but you learn to cope. I would say make a list of all the essential bills from the last 12 mths mortgage, utilities etc then prioritize any you can live without or swap to a cheaper deal and see if you can afford to live on one wage.
This thread is amazing so food wise that's not a problem. Wish I'd found it back then.
I used to save all DD clothes and each new season sell them on eBay or a car boot, the money I got for them helped buy the next lot...plan ahead if you do have a little spare cash then put it away for emergency or a treat every so often.
You will ultimately make the best decision for your family and your own circumstances and learn to deal with any issues this creates.
It's not easy to give up work but you get used to it and being a stay at home mum is rich in experience and one I'm glad I was able to share with both my monkeys:)
Pension wise it will probably be frozen but for every complete year you are at home with your little one you will receive a complete year towards your state pension.

Last weekend had friends staying from Devon and took them on the Ghost bus tour. I was shocked to see people paying the £21.50 ticket price on the night ( horrified actually)!
I paid half that per person on 365 and went through Quidco. Our friends said it was a great night out, it certainly was fun and you get to see places of interest and learn a bit more about London at the same time.
I've been on it twice so must be good.

Yes there is an impossibly varied number of potential things to do in London - you could do something different every weekend for ever and not see everything.
Last weekend they had friends over and she picked up some leaflets at the station - something to do with her all zones season ticket - anyway it only cost the visitors £5 to go from eldest childs place into London, they went to Borough market (a place they are always going to) and then Vinianopolis for half price and then to eat, again half price - altogether a very entertaining day out and very cheap
do you have the Time out card? My eldest was given hers by her friend when the friend went north - not sure if its still in date though.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Anyone still using their loop.
Went away for the weekend and turned the heating right down. It was interesting to see that the gas used dropped considerably but the electric hardly changed. I thought all our use of TVs, appliances, chargers, lights was significant - clearly not.
I've just been going through our heating/electricity bill as it's horrendous this quarter (double what it usually is compared to the last 4 years). We honestly can't figure out why the heating portion is so high when we haven't changed a thing.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Morning ,
Thought you might like some nice Monday morning reading.

Seems voting didn't stop at 23.59 and Ruth could have carried on campaigning.
Thanks for all the lovely messages I have seen my lovely girl grow in confidence this week and reach out to people she would never have before. So every minute I spent campaigning was worth it to me. I am hoping this will give her a boost to get where she wants in life. :A
Couldn't have done it without the Elite, £2,500 of make up is not worth it.
And yes you can thank me L'Oreal for the massive amount of time and free advertising I have given you last couple of weeks.
I've asked for a full explanation from L'Oreal on twitter as to why the comp appeared to be rigged along with a few others that noticed the weird voting xxxWe are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -
That sounds rather harsh My "old" company would have been a "variation" of contract but that may be your company policy I would give ACAS a phone and if you have legal protection on your house insurance they can offer employment law advice too
My work offer "work life balance" which doesn't change your contract but is entirely their policy and I will apply but apparently they are clamping down. Flexible working is the legal route but I'd have to sign a new contract. I'm a civil servant and they have been trying to get old staff to sign over to new t and cs. We have done all sorts to avoid this as your rights for pay, leave, sickness are less. I really don't want to sign over but may have to
Bit scared actually0
