Lovely to see you Neosi but sorry to hear what has happened bless you i am sending you a very gentle Nannylala hug:ALala is also suffering as you are with a disc problem and has been not a happy bunny she was on strong medication but is having side effects so trying to cut down on meds.Take care and hope you begin to get better soon.
thks nanny :A im on a cocktail of meds at the mo, two of which are very strong. Ive already got to cut down on one cos there very addictive but that particular one is wonderful :rotfl:
What im really missing is a Brandy which would cheer me up no end but sadly thats a big no noso i'll let you have one for me
Hope lala is on the mend soon
Oh Neosi, my sympathies as I have suffered from back problems too. Take it easy but as you say, you have to keep moving about. Make sure you have a small cushion or rolled up towel behind the small of your back when sitting or lying down, to maintain the forward arch in your spine, and try ice for 15/20 mins at a time, then heat the same
Long time no seeim using extra cushions at the mo to raise the sofas and chairs, and have a couple of microwave bean bags in the small of my back which is really helping, but i just cant sit for too long, thankfully though i am sleeping but not flat cos its way to painfull

Hubby's 50th at end of March Tiny. This one is floral lol. Really strange cos I've developed a love of dresses but never go any where I can wear one. After that it should be ds graduation in July time xx
Really gutted today as realised I forgot to pay hubby's cc on 12th. I NEVER forgot but was really not feeling well last week and totally forgot. Just remembered today and paid it in full as I always do but we have got £45 in various chargesThey won't discuss with me cos I'm only 2nd user !
Can you not put the CC on direct debit to pay the whole amount each month? That's what I do.0 -
I hope your referral comes through soon for you, not nice waiting.
Thank you, its the 19th March I goLainey1954 wrote: »Is this only for c & c or is it in store please.
C&C /HD only so that msm doesn't pick up the reduced instore price. All are better than free except the dishwasher tabs which cost £1.20Mumto2monkeys wrote: »You should still wear them even if you are bobbing to @. Just wear them with thick tights and flats or boots. You shouldn't need an excuse to feel good about yourself. I've seen people in @ dressed up, (as I'd call it, like on a night out)
People don't know your circumstances, you may just be bobbing in to pick up milk on your way back to the office after landing the million pound deal of the year;)
Having suffered with SAD when I was younger I can understand a little of where you are coming from and don't mean the above in a condescending way...hope it doesn't come across like that.
I totally agree with the above. There's no reason not to dress up anytime you feel like. I have a good friend who I've known since childhood. She suffers clinical depression and rarely leaves the house. Recently she posted on facebook that she has a ballgown to wear for her birthday. OH couldn't understand why she would do this as he said she made it sound like she was having a big party when in reality it was just a buffet at her house with her brother and sister, myself and OH. He said she lives in a fantasy world but so what, this is what makes her happy and it's not hurting anyone so why not :cool:0 -
My store hasn't done c&c up until I randomly typed in my postcode today and found out they do :j
Soooooo.... I'm doing my first one for tomorrow
Any tips please?
I have UDI's, fish counter fish, ring pops and cheques (haven't done cleaning stuff as not sure if it's RTC in my store)
Do u collect inshore or is there a space in car park?
TIA
The only tip I have is to look extremely innocent and distressed if anything is not as you expect and you have to reject subs or anything which costs more than you want. Say this is your first order and they will be sympathetic, especially if Udis are not in stock. Just try and stop them ordering them for you! That's what they did in my store and they are still on the shelf! Am doing CC in another store now...0 -

hope youare all in fine fettle and those who are having a difficult time I hope this changes for the better.
i had a disastrous shop that a sub messed up my apg and my udis didnt compare.
i also found it if it wasnt common knowledge when i called cs about missing things on my order that you can only be refunded up to £15 when you use the self service request refund. So for any of you that wondered why some refunds get cancelled you now know why ... (if u didn't know already)and if you did know well no harm no foul
T x
Thanks for the info about refunds. I, for one, didn't know that.
Did your shop compare against a different store please? Is that why the Udis didn't compare? Perhaps you could post your shop for us please?0 -

All in one chesty cough and cold 16 tablets in a blue box. Hth:)0 -
Thank you Picasso.
If I refused some items because too expensive presumably that would stop the APG working if I hadn't got enough fillers.....is that right?
Is it eight comparable items you need?
TIA
You need eight items but most of us get ten to be certain eight will compare.
The APG rather bizarrely compares on what you order, not on what you receive or accept! That is why we all hope the Udis are not in stock...0 -
