I am probably going for a 3 course meal as it's not anymore expensive than a buffet and will stop any bun fights. ;)

Close family are all staying in the hotel for couple of nights so we can make the most of beaches at Bournemouth if the weather is warm enough. :j

    Sounds fab Tiny.
Bet the beaches are lovely down there. I love the seaside xx

So hope it dosent take that long to get back to normal, i have NHS physio booked but im trying to see if i can get something done through work abit quicker, otherwise its a 3 week wait

Ouch, mr monkey had this a few years ago, he passed out with the pain on the way to a&e and was bent over sideways resembling a banana:eek: not a good look.
    Hope the pain eases soon...
Take it easy, even when you feel it's getting better dont rush it.

Totally understand him passing out, im not ashamed to say was was screaming, never felt pain like it, just when you think its past it then spasms and starts all over again :(

I get what you're saying but these are all major towns with 3-lane dual carriageways and one-way systems and are not towns we are at all familiar with. I would be apprehensive driving there and I have been driving for 37 years! I think knowing the roads and where they go will help her confidence enormously and will enable her to concentrate on her driving rather than navigating.

Actually I rang my test centre and they are expecting a new examiner next week so hopefully some new appointments will be released.

    Hi Buzylizzie
I think I'm a bit of an expert in driving tests, lol and have booked many (loads of kids).....
what you do is book the earliest available online and then go online every morning (and if possible, during the day) and check for cancellations.
There is a limit of three changes so you can book an earlier one and if she gets cold feet or something crops up you can still change that one.
Its supposed to be a live system so changes happen all the time but I was advised to go on first thing and the mid afternoon and have always been lucky with the cancellations. hth
  • good afternoon all,
hope youare all in fine fettle and those who are having a difficult time I hope this changes for the better.

i had a disastrous shop that a sub messed up my apg and my udis didnt compare.

i also found it if it wasnt common knowledge when i called cs about missing things on my order that you can only be refunded up to £15 when you use the self service request refund. So for any of you that wondered why some refunds get cancelled you now know why ... (if u didn't know already)and if you did know well no harm no foul :)

They are lovely Poole has better though, Sandbanks is one of the best beaches I do believe. Someone will probably be along to tell me different though. ;)

The hotel is on the cliff top so just a walk down the steps to the beach in the morning, me and OH stayed there on a living social deal last year so I know the food is good. :)

We are spoilt living so close though you tend to take it for granted. :o
