Morning all
I had a little doggy in the garden this morning, my polite calm dog so as I could see he had a collar I calked him in. It was a dogs trust collar which has a medal on with their Id number and a number to ring 0845
Anyway I rang the number and a chap took the details and about 5 mins later the dogs mum rang me. It turned out she had only had him 3 weeks, gone to great lengths to make the garden high security but he had still done a Houdini, out since last night and she had been going frantic with worry. He had crossed main roads and looked like he had been in the fields all night.
So while we were waiting for her to come to collect him I played sit and throw cat treats with the dog - very well behaved dog. 2 of my cats were in the kitchen or upstairs, Sophie had been having a lie in on the sofa so she retreated to the dining room, a spitting furious growling ball of fur. Dog was not bothered.
It turned out that the lady knew me, kids similar age so same school and drama club etc very small world
Anyway that's my good deed for the day done, Sophie on my lap and a cup of tea and it's already 10.30 ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Also in the post this morning 5 zugo deli cafe vouchers valid until the end of the year - I had a twitter win a couple of days ago :j
I might hang onto these - I seem to think they go bogof every so often - can anyone confirm this ???“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Right, off down to Lidl then I think I might tidy a cupboard or two. Definitely getting that spring cleaning feeling
I also use Google calendar on the main computer - absolute godsend.
I set up stepped reminder - email pop ups a day before and a few hours before. I also get a daily schedule.
I've not quite figured out how to also get it on the iPhone and iPad and get them to all synch up with the main computer.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I'm looking for one that I can set reminders on... For eg car service next June... Boiler service next Feb etc I want it to remind me they are due etc
Any help greatly appreciated as it would hold quite a lot of work related info that would save me looking through numerous files etc
Off out now but any info/advice greatly appreciated I know there are a few on here who understand technology better than me:o
Thank you
I use the S Planner on my phone its already installed
You can set an alarm to go off to remind you when your appointments are due.0 -

Glad he managed to find your garden and is now reunited with his owner :T:T
Pity it was an 0845
Hope owner/s gets another disc with their numbers on0 -
Morning kids
thanks to Evangeline and everyone else re: the cleaning products. I quickly drove to A this morning to check out what prices are rtc in my store. The dettol is so I've done an order for tonight :T
One thing I've stumbled upon is cheese (well, not literally as I'd have left crumbs:rotfl:).
I've ordered 2 blocks of cath city mature 350g @ £4.48 each:eek:. MyS is not showing the 2 for £5 multibuy. It's also on offer at T for £2 a block so if MyS continues to not pick m'buy up, i could be paid to take it away (£5.36 APG on a £5 spend.). Would only work on CC/HD though.Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -

Ta for this.
Checked Ohs and his phileas fog bought Sunday but only uploaded yesterday is still showing on his list - slightly worrying, as it's the 2nd time, didn't show either after the Sunday loading.
Might check later and then try again.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Most, if not all smart phones have a calendar/reminder/alert system built in whether it be via the calendar or stand alone feature.
You shouldn't need to download anything additional to what you've probably already got.
I use google on my iphone too. It's brilliant. Hubby and i have access to each others so our life is planned on that - everything from kids drop off, night outs, A C&C's (I'm serious!:D). Plus the important stuff like birthdays and insurances. As stated above, you can set reminders for a little beep.Tiger

Yes normally I'd go to the saynoto0870 website but I think my sky phone package covers these anyway.
He legs were very muddy, makes you wonder how far he had been overnight“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
