Hi I've just joined the forum and need some advice. I bought some sets of blinds from this company and I didn't realise when measuring the window frame you measured the inside. I measure the outside. If they are vertical blinds then most local shops around you , would be prepared to alter them for you, for a price.

Just say you were given them as a gift, but too long, don't say you bought them off the Internet !

I have 5+ shops in my local area, I have done what you need in the past with one of them and it cost me £20 all in.

Hopefully you don't have a cat, as if your cat is anything like mine, you will have no weights or dividing chain left on any of them with 4 weeks of fitting !
