Oh and we do love the good ole Wednesday dance....
Hope you get YNAB sortedGrocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

I got YNAB sorted! It really does work differently to my little brain though! But, now I understand how it works pretty well so all should be good from now on!
I also paid of CC no.2 last night, so that's another job jobbed.
One last big card to pay. I do have savings to clear this, but my card is on 0% until December and my savings are earning 5%. So I'd like to keep them separate for now (and forever!).
End of the working week for me! Oh how it's taken it's time to get here!!!! I've got a fairly busy weekend coming up and need to be frugal as possible. I'm in town both Saturday and Sunday meeting friends but I don't generally need to spend lots when I see these friends and it'll be lovely having two good days out.
I actually spent no money yesterday and can't see me needing to spend any money today!
I've just received a text from my friend offering to take me on a helicopter photography trip over London later this month! I feel sick with excitement now! So blessed!

Now I've got the hang of YNAB and I've made plans I'm plotting for the future. This may require a new diary as, up until now, I've just been trying to find and maintain focus with a diary. But I now have PLANS!!!!
My show last night went pretty well, and then I was on with the station manager, but we were chatting so much that I was distracting her from lining up her next song! I find stuff like that amusing, but she was mortified so I don't think she felt it was a good show.I did have a great time though.
Today I've met a friend in London, who is going through a really rough patch. I'm so blessed because a lot of my friends are going through heart wrenching times right now. So we had lots of sit down chatting time while we ate and drank. She's being so strong though and can really hold her head high.
She bought breakfast as it was her turn. I bought lunch which was £23. I also bought a notebook for £4 and filled my car up with petrol which was £50.
£77 all of which is in the budget.
Tomorrow I'm back in London meeting friends and won't be spending so much.
I hope everyone is enjoying the fab sunshine and wasn't too bothered by the huge storm we had last night! I have quite a fear of storms so I didn't do very well, but I recognise we needed it.

I'm on a real high today, which I think is genuine and not the one coffee I had earlier this morning putting my on hyper!
I met up with my friends and had a fantastic day. It was one of those days where things just click. People in the right frames of mind and just getting along as good friends do! We met in Dalston and I was soaked through as I'd forgotten my umbrella!!!! It was a pub and they only had coffee or alcohol so I had a very expensive, very top notch (apparently) coffee! It's the V20! I thought that was vegetable juice!!!
As I've not seen them for a few weeks and they're usually entertaining me and buying in great food etc, I jumped to pay the bill. 4 coffees came to an eye watering £14. I don't mind spending the £14 on them but it was a bit much for them to charge for small coffees! Anyway! That's all I spent, but I did get LOADS of fantastic and amazing craft ideas based on beautifully inspiring things seen in some shops. So tomorrow I shall pop to the craft store and find out prices. I obviously have no intention to buy anything this month as it's not in the budget!!!! But I may fudge things around so I can treat myself next month.
I've sent in my Shop & Scan and have added another £5 to the Swagbucks total. I'm sitting here going through some videos and watching TV now as I'm too shot to do anything else.
I'm getting my hair and nails done tomorrow so a spendy day! But all in the budget! Whoop!
I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend too!

Yesterday I decided not to spend money on getting my nails done, so I cancelled my appointment.
I did get my hair done - £30, and then I went to get a few bits of shopping for £12.59.
Happy new week all. MTx0 -
hope ones hair looks suitably gorgeous and befitting of such a wonderful gal

I'm really not feeling it today! I had a horrendous 4 hour journey home last night due to a fire at a pertinent place on my journey home! A warehouse had set alight and it was in between the only 2 roads of that location which were subsequently road blocked! So I was virtually trapped on my bus waiting for it to be cleared. I couldn't get out and walk as the only way out was through the fields by the fire! So I had to sit and wait until finally a police van gave us a little escort back so the bus could reverse and turn around! So I'm shattered today after just a few hours sleep!
However, I'm still staying within budget and feeling really proud of myself. Having a goal is really helping me as getting my purse out to pay for things gives me a choice. Either this bar of chocolate or money in my funds bringing me closer to my goals!HOWEVER
, due to sheer lack of sleep and energy, chocolate and bad bad food is winning today!
So, large bar of fruit and nut - £1 (garage special). Large but decent coffee from cafeteria - £1.60. Pecan and maple danish (don't judge me!!!) £0.85 AND almond croissant (ok, you can judge!) £0.85.
My boss brings in drinks on a Wednesday and I bring in food so, 2 oranges (for him, I've had the rubbish above!) £0.80 for both.
Total spends = £5.10
On a plus, the chocolate, the maple danish and the large decent coffee are giving me some superficial energy, so while I have that, it's time to celebrate the middle of the week with the Wednesday dance!!!MTxx0 -
