Thanks Sam! I loved that song you sent too.

Hopefully Rosa is still on holiday and has decided that the holiday life is for her! I do miss her though! :(

Yesterday was another so so day! Why can't I focus for long? I paid for lunch in the work canteen, although it was a proper hot meal for £3.50. Not a healthy meal though! They don't do anything healthy there.

I checked my bank details this morning and I've been paid the £25 incentive for opening a credit card with my bank. So I've sent that to the Virgin card. That should leave me with a cc balance of £835 which I'll pay off when I get paid.

This morning I bought 2 oranges plus a pack of penguins for work. £1.70. I also bought myself a muffin - £1.65!!!!!!!! 4fvgdaq_th.gifI also acted like a silly person with the man serving me! Not many people can make me laugh like he does but .... get a grip!!!! :D

I was bought a decent coffee this morning and I'll reuse the large cup for a free supplies decaf coffee later, but I think that after this weekend I need to eliminate caffeiene and the decaf chemicals. I'm away this weekend so I don't want to deal with the fall out when I go through the withdrawals before then. In the meantime I'll cut down! :o

I've drawn up a Freedom Financial Forecast to give me a good idea of where I'm heading, how to get there and also help me change my mindset to fit with YNAB better. Now I have a forecast plan, I think the next thing I need to really put effort into is focusing and staying focused. So, Operation Muffin Tops is getting underway.

This weekend will be great for getting me motivated! I will give myself a pat on the back for being more organised though. I've paid off more than I would have done on my Virgin card and I've also taken the time and effort to write up the forecast. My house is also getting clearer and I've managed a boot sale! So there's good mixed in with the bad.

It's Hump Day again! Yay! Have a great one!

It was so lovely to see you back on the forums Rosa. We missed you! x

I'm always up for a big hug!!!

Well, I'm not sure if it's because I'm not at work today but I'm feeling like I'm ready to make plans. I'm not going to be hasty, I'll sort some headspace out this weekend and then see where to start.

Financially I've been pretty good. I found some more pennies to send to the Virgin card, so that helps. I'll be so happy when that card has a zero balance.

Today I avoided buying any food by finding some pasta and garlic bread in the fridge just before lunch. I then pootled up to the radio and did my show and am back home again now. I'm hungry but really don't fancy anything. Hmm! Ignore hunger and risk binging or eat now! I think I've answered my own question there.

No money spent at all today. I will need to buy a few bits for my weekend away as I'm such a fuss pot! I should probably top up petrol too, just to be sure I have enough to get there and back without having to stop.

The weekend starts here! Congratulations to us all for getting through another work week! dancegirl2.gif

I'd best get some food now! Have a great weekend. MTx

Not much to report really. I did end up eating food from home on Friday but didn't need any extra petrol! I will need some on Friday though so I haven't really saved anything.

I get paid next Tuesday! It can't come fast enough. I think I'm going to need to do some jiggery pokery on YNAB to get it all up to date and then use the new rules next month outside of my "daily budget" rules.

I've been reflecting on the show I put out last Friday and I'm having some ideas on how to make it more structured and "mine"! I took too many requests last week so I was pushing through the show to play them all. This week I'm going to reduce the amount of requests, have a prepared playlist for between the requests and also specify a slot of time for myself to talk about general things.

I've also rediscovered swagbucks and have already earned enough for a £5 Amazon or M&S voucher. These will help me save for gifts I think as it's free money. It used to take so much time and effort to get extra SB's but with the SBTV and search bar it seems a bit easier now.

Quidco paid me £7.35 in Amazon vouchers yesterday for my cashback too! So that's building a nice pot.

The weekend was great for focussing. Like Rosa I've decided on a vision board, and like my nag on Rosa's diary, I have to get it started this weekend while my wishes are in vibrant colour. Before real life dims my imagination.

I've also been sent an invite for the Braun shaver trial, which I've responded to and asked a friend to be my partner for it! It'd be great to get a brand new and free hair remover for summer!

I'm out tonight, which shouldn't be expensive as we're going to the cinema. Hopefully on Meerkat Movies, but I'm not sure yet. Tomorrow I'm attending a colleagues "special" leaving party (laid on by the Firm) so there should be lots of free food and drink available.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous week and happy to be over the hump now it's the afternoon! Wooh!

    Do the Wednesday afternoon dance!
