I think it would last till Thursday. I've got some in my fridge at the moment from Tuesday and it looks fine. But you should cover it carefully - I don't just mean put a lid on the container but cover closely with something you can put in contact with the potato. I usually use butter papers. I put the potato in a basin, level off the surface and press the butter paper gently down all over making sure there are no gaps where the paper meets the side of the bowl.0

I agree with 3 days max - though I would probably portion it up and freeze at least one portion (it freezes better without the yummy extras like butter and mayo) just in case my meal plans changed and I didn't get to it on the planned day.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I would say 3 days as well, I find it a bit watery and not so appetising after around that time length.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

I would agree with others, three days would be the longest I'd keep them for, but you can freeze it if you want to keep them for longer. This thread has some advice:

I'll add your thread to the quick questions on food safety later.

Only add the milk when you want to use the mash, or the milk sometimes goes sour, is my tip.
