I used to think I would hate it but my OH proposed on Valentine's Day 9 years ago. However it also happened to be his birthday AND the day we went for our first scan for our daughter.
He also did it on wet bended knee in the rainy hospital car park - just to be different!!! I loved it.0 -

Oh and we also just get cards and not pressies. I like to make a fuss of my OH as it his birthday. Bit of a PITA having to think of 2 different soppy things to write (one in his birthday card and one in his valentine)!!0

My birthday too. Rubbish it's impossible to go out.
However we got engaged on it two years ago. BUT it was so unexpected because it was on my birthday/Valentine's day. Always thought it be on holiday up on some mountain not at our dining table after dinner. Loved it.finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)0
