Hi, I've filled in my details correctly on the MSE credit card eligibilty calculator. But it couldn't find my details at the credit bureau! Why would that be? I've lived here for 4 years now.
Can anyone help me? As i've just been refused a 0% balance transfer credit card although i've always had credit and never been refused before.....Could this be the reason why?
Thank you in anticipation.

Have you ever checked your Credit Report?
You can check a snapshot of it on Noddle for free but it is worth getting your statutory report from time to time to ensure there are no inaccuracies on it.
Are you on the Electoral Roll? Or have you recently moved address?
Have you recently changed name? single to married etc
It may also be your credit v income ratio
There could be lots of reasons why you have been refused, it could be none of the above and that they just didn't fancy you as a customer.

Thanks Dobbi,
I've just registered for noddle and discovered everything is ok and my credit rating is 4/5, which is good.
It must be the fact that they just didn't want my custom as you said, although that confuses me somewhat.0 -
