I think you may have got carried away with the zeros as I thought 4000 = £40 to a PayPal account.

Haha yes you're right, it should have been 400 :)

I find pinecone irritating at times. I have had 3 surveys in the last week, all asking if i would be willing to try the product, to which i answered yes. However there is no way to tell if any of the products will be sent so i have no idea if i should wait in for the postman :(

It would help if they sent an email to say "you have not been chosen this time" / "product has been dispached today"

Yes, it would be helpful if they told you whether or not you were being asked to test the product. I've been with them for 2 or 3 years now and have only twice received the product for testing, so I definitely go on the basis that the postie won't be bringing anything!

Apparently I have been removed from the database only way to get back on is reapply don't think I will bother.

As companies go that rely on the public for what they do they treat people awfully almost like dirt.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • Has Pinecone gone quiet for anyone else? I had 2 lots of household questions around the new year but haven't heard anything since.
  • Hi, I was lucky enough to find a link on a website and signed up to Pinecone a few weeks ago now. I filled in all my details etc and got told I would receive a welcome survey within the coming days. Nearly three weeks later and I still haven't had anything! I changed the frequency of the surveys to regularly or whatever it was. Just wondering is this normal, or should I drop them an email and ask what's happening?

Think it's just a lull, the last survey I had was on the 5th of January.
Hopefully things will get back to normal in February.

I've been a member of Pinecone for several years and I recommend them highly.

However, the number of surveys received depends on a panellist's demographic.

I very rarely receive more than one survey a month to complete, and often fewer.

Occasionally they may send a product to test and the panellist is paid for completing two surveys, the initial survey and second after the test is completed.

    Definitely worth waiting for surveys.

    Good luck

Just got a quick survey from them.
Bit of a mixed bag of questions.
