Good luck Nora! They'd be mad not to choose you, and if they don't it's because they're all a bit loopy! ;)

Hopefully you'll hear soon so we can all start considering what chocoalte to bring to the party!!!
  • Hello Lovelies

Sorry it's been a while. No excuses... *offers chocolate instead*

Well, I didn't get the job - 'very close second' was the general gist. I was sad for a couple of days then got straight back on the application trails. :D

I've applied for a few part time bits and pieces on the basis that any additional money coming in is good. Did get called for interview for a Christmas temp supermarket job that would have been perfect for the 'cold and spendy' winter months but the only interview slot they had was slap bang in the middle of my other job and I couldn't get the time off. Ho hum!

Still, I'm so pleased to have 'broken the seal' on my anxiety over applying for work generally that I just can't maintain the sad over such minor set backs. Three applications going off this week. Keep those fingers crossed!

Money continues to be a worry of course - more so the longer I go without regular and significant additional income. Thankfully, this is the silly season for my crafts, so fingers and toes crossed that it brings in some much-needed money. In any case, if I can't bring in the additional income, then I either need to share the house or move into a shared property.... I'm really not designed to share my home-space (or much else for that matter!), and detest either option with a passion - but I've detested stuff before and got over it.... ;)

    Righto, best get on.

Well sorry you didn't get the first job but you clearly couldn't have got much closer... so very well done and hopefully they have given you helpful feedback on the last little thing to get the next one! Good luck with the next batch :D

Also good luck with the silly season... may you sell many many cute Christmassy things! :T

Is there anyone you can think of that you might want to share with? I can see the down side of sharing, but recently have been thinking I'm not all that keen on living on my own either and it would be a whole lot cheaper to share... even for a couple of years to get some savings sorted. I know it doesn't fit the pattern we maybe expect for our lives, but who wants to follow the rules? :D Anyway just musing there... hope you find what you need.

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job Nora and, like Rosa says, hopefully you'll get to sell lots of lovely Christmas crafts to bump up the coffers.

Good luck with finding the perfect role for 2016.

Hello Nora, sorry not been on much since having my little munchkin. I'll try and catch up. Hope you're well xx
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • Hi Uni
No probs - munchkin-watch is an excellent excuse!

To be honest, I'm not around much myself at the moment - currently holding down four 'jobs', so just enough time to eat chocolate and mess up the house!
