Meeting up with some of DH 's family today (had to put a space between the h and the ' there otherwise my phone wants to change it to Darcy - I wish:rotfl: ) Anyway we haven't seen any of them since this time last year so more gift giving. All our gifts this year are home made food and drink. Nice and DFW'ish.

It won't be a late night as everyone back to school and work tomorrow. Clothes for tomorrow already set out so no mad rushing around tonight or tomorrow morning trying to find things.

The family get together was fun. Lots of lovely food and great banter. No sore heads here as both of us working Monday and the kids were back to school.

Have been busy all week and no chance to do anything in the house but there are no visits or shopping trips planned for this weekend so hoping to do some decluttering and a bit of DIY. Will think of a list of to do's and post it later.

Didn't get back on here last night due to smallboy being rather clingy. Thought he might have been coming down with something but he has been his usual boisterous self today so wasn't that. Today was spent in the kitchen mostly. Cooking, ironing, cleaning etc and then taking the two older children to parties and meet ups. DD is heading out again with a friend tomorrow but it is her parents turn to do the driving.

    Tomorrow must do's.

Clear boxes from in front of the printer so I can get at it
Scan document that needs scanning and saving before posting
    Post document
Look out wicker baskets for kitchen cabinets
Fill wicker baskets with medications etc and put on top shelf of cabinet
    Fix mirror in living room

    Tomorrow maybe do's

Sort out box of paperwork, burn, recycle, file accordingly
Go through underwear drawer and bin accordingly
Go through DD's underwear drawer and bin accordingly
Go through DS1's underwear drawer and bin accordingly
Go through DS2's underwear drawer and bin accordingly
DH can go through his own!

Right, got home a little bit early tonight and DH is at home tonight too so have a small list of things to do.

    Today
    Post Sympathy card
    Move small boys bed
    Move small sofa
    One hour decluttering
    Half hour filing
    One hour studying

    This week
Find and fill out teenboy's EMA application
Update tax credits with DH's earnings for 2014-15
    - not doing until Friday as get a payment that day and as nothing else is going into the account until the 28th I don't want to risk it mucking up any payments that need to go out if our tax credits go down - I don't think they will, in fact they might even go up slightly.

As I can't always get on the pc if teenboy needs it for studying I am also writing my lists in a small notebook that I can refer to through the day. It also fits in my bag so if I think of anything that will need doing when I get home, while I am at work, I can add it so no excuses for forgetting.

Off to collect smallboy then we can get started.

Didn't get to the decluttering and filing because moving the sofa meant moving two units in the hallway which took a lot more maneuvering than I remember when we first put the sofa through into the bedroom. I think we need to get rid of the dining table that sits in the livingroom but DH wants to keep it. I'll give it two days and I'm sure he'll get fed up squeezing between the sofa and table and will agree to remove it :rotfl:

Have had some square PTFE pads that can be popped under the feet/corners of heavy furniture - Managed a huge solid oak welsh dresser all on my own (and it was full of crap'n'tat).

It was more of a problem with how narrow the hall is, how much crap'n'tat as you put it, was in one of the units and the fact that there is every likelihood of the other unit collapsing if it is moved again.:rotfl:
