Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Lil you have been very quiet for a while now, hope everything's ok on your side. ??

Hey guys its been a while 6 months infact :[

Where have i been i started a small business on the side of my main income which did was profitable but does take a good 20 hours out of me a week

I spent the summer and 3k out the back built a koi pond
slabbed/ build walls and concreted 2 huge sections over 25ton of concrete

mortgage is now at around 60,500 :] i haven't over payed monthly but increased my emergency fund to 23k

so you could say my mortgage could be 50k if i wanted to pay a lump sum off and still have a good EF on the side :]

    Financial Plans for 2017
    • mortgage under 55k ideally 52k :]
    • work hard at my 2 business
    • Keep adding to EF as i can

I went to see about a buy to let yesterday but they want a 25% deposit and this would suck up most of my EF which would scare me to much so im not going to bother with that

I hope you guys have smashed your goals i need to catch up with you lot :]
