    Quick update from me

Not much happening really just work and life really

Iv got my first proper gas/Electric bill of close to £400 from end of jan till end of April 3 months so roughly £15 on gas and £15 on electric a week in the winter months this will be less im guessing now in the lighter warmer months of the year

I have a 3 bed semi and work from home so am home a lot as you know so least this gives me an amount to budget each month for it for now i have nothing really to judge this aginest so dunno if its normal amount or not ?

Worked out all my main bills per month come to
    mortgage/counsil tax/accountant/Mobil phone/water/gas/electric/car insurance/Gym/dentist/internet and tv phone
comes to around £700 which pleases me mad to think half of that is my mortgage grrrr

Will update my mortgage total now once normal payment comes out next :]

    Hi Lil,

Whether your energy usage/cost is the norm, can really only compare by the units used. I'd have a g00gle or similar to find the average for your house size and see how you stack up against it.

I know Br!tish Gas had a good little tool when I was with them so you could input headcount, house size etc and it'd give you the average in your area and a comparison.

My gas was 7 for that period and elec 9 units (per day) but differences like number of rads, size of house, insulation and an energy hungry DS all make it a bit tricky.

Well done on your big £1k+ OP by the way - not far off those 50s now :)

Thanks ali, Thats a great idea
Off i go to have a look see what the rough average is.
    Seems as tho
Electric im just over average by £50 And Gas im under average by £70
Considering i work from home this isn't bad at all over a 3 month period at all really.

Thanks im hoping to chip away at it now till x-mas and get it into the 50s ready for next year :]
