    Hey guys
Instead of the whole garage idea iv decided to

Put 600x600 concrete slabs on the front for a 20sq meter area price is £280 for the slabs bought few other bits like membrain stop weeds sand blocks cement ect for back as well total came to around £440
Had a 3 quotes for this and people seem to be charging silly money this time of year for work 1 was £800 other 900 and 1 at 750
either way its less than half to do it myself

So little side project for me when its dry

    quick update
    Got my slabs/blocks sand ect

Managed to lay 20 slabs out of 56 i got yesterday but its forecast rain now for the next 3 days so will be back at it Monday
Massively hard work on my own when the slabs are so thick for the eight of the car lol but feels so good at the end of the day

bought a angle grinder today to cut the slabs proper for up aginest wall so

worked out i need 80sq meters out my back for 2 big sections i want to do which is about 1k in slabs 4 different size ones to make a pretty pattern

I guess it would make sense for me to buy a mixer now as i cant be mixing by hand out the back haha

    Hey fire thanks
Things are good not much happening on the mortgage front for now

Managed to finish the front yesterday it looks really good as well spend a total of around 15 Hours on it so not long at all really

bought myself a cement mixer £100

Also had a few quotes to do the back garden in total there is about 70 square meters i need to sort out prices are verying from 1.5k to 2.5k had 4 people round :eek::eek::eek::eek:

now i know this is the time of year for this kind of work but dam the materials i need for the job everything i had a price of £650
im basically just conreating the back with a 2 small walls and some slabs on the walk way sort of thing

it blows my mind some of the prices people charge considering iv already done the ground work lol

looks like another job for luckyinlife to get stuck into im just trying to get the back tiddy/low maintenance and usable

Hope all you guys are good
