Exciting! Is this the last bit left on your house? Will you be moving soon? I bet you won't know what to do once you've completed the house. Or have you started hatching the next plan?

Hi cream tea. There is a load of little bits to do now like
finish kitchen of 90% done now tho
 20% painting left
loft floor and 2 velux windows ( this will be my office now instead of the 3rd bedroom)
 bathroom
once all this is done just flooring thro house and its done :]
Hopefully all this will be done by the end of September now and then i can start moving in next month or 2
Im in no real rush really got a lot on this month at the house and work and remortgaging so will be nice once its all done
Plan Once all is done is to relax thro the winter/save. Maby even look to take another house on as a project if the sums adds up as my area 90% of houses need renovating and is a few £ in them if you can flip them quick but we shall see how much i have at the end of the winter :]Mortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

Congrats on the PB win. 90% of houses in your area need renovating? Wow! Clearly not in the south east then Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0

 It is a lot for people like myself these days to get on the ladder let alone spend another 10-15k on the house im a lucky guyMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

            So Septembers money news
Im trying my best to keep a hold of money without spending to much on stuff but i feel like im not in control of my money currently (I am) but just feels like im not
So heres my attempt to sort things out in my mind and on my dairy
My current EF is 16k 6k of this can and will be used for Remortgage and OP
house fund stands at 6k for work being done/kitchen floor ect
 Total 22k for now
I need to pay for the following
 3.2k for kitchen
 300 for doors
1.2k for guy whos doing kitchen doors bathroom loft ect ect will pay once finished
this is money i ow out currently total --- £4800
i still need to get the tiles for the bathroom £400-500
i still need to get wood floor for down stairs £800-1.2k
i still need to get loft flooring materials and 2 velux windows £600
so the 6k house fund wont be enough but i keep uping my standards all the time i guess im building a home for many years to come so a weee overspend is welcomed
i feel better now put it on here
 And now the house is coming along its 100 times nicer than i could of imagined 6 months ago feel blessedMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

That lot takes you just 1k over budget Lucky. Having watched plenty of Grand Designs and Restoration Man I think you can practically call that an underspend haha! All of what you're spending on will benefit you while you live there and likely be worth something if you ever decide to sell up. I think you're doing the right thing and won't regret it one bit 0 0

Haha thanks SSS grand designs and restoration man are few of my favs i know they spend some crazy money on them.
Ya i guess most of whats left now is cosmetic stuff like doors floor carpet bathroom tiles ect :]
