I did indeed!
In fact, I did a new quote with aviva, with all details up to date with new car and accident declared and no years no claims and it is still £200 cheaper than I am paying at the moment.0 -
Aviva will quote you a price as a new customer 2 months in advance. There is nothing stopping you taking a policy with them as a new customer as this will be cheaper than accepting their renewal.
Top tip. Go to the comparison sites 30 days before your renewal date and lock in some quotes. I guarantee that the nearer the renewal date the higher the quote.0 -

One question I have, if the claim is still ongoing, can they still take me as a new customer?0
