  • Hi guys, not enough funds to make a big OP today so I've paid £8.25 to round the mortgage to a whole number :):)

    My challenge ends in a month and I have no idea how i'm going to do it! Answers on a postcard please... have lovely afternoons all xx

  • Hello again all :)

    A small success to offset the low OP day - we are significantly in credit with our gas & electricity, so I contacted them today to ask for a refund. Lo and behold - £139.87 being credited to our account in the next 7 days! And, our DD is reducing from £132 pcm to £74 pcm! Hurrahhhhh! :):) :)xx

    You star :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Your two posts, so close together, made me laugh out loud with delight. Its what the Jeff Goldblum character said in the original Jurassic Park: "life will find a way" :j

    Nice! :) We're still wrangling with ours to get our final bill (which should be a credit).
  • It's funny how things have a way of working themselves out :j Just keep it up with the positive thinking - you are doing fantastically well :T
    Mortgage - £105,500
  • Hi guys,

    Thank you as ever for your lovely comments. The Air BnB booking is going really well he's a great guest and has also booked a few extra days in with us, hurrah! OP of £50 made to the pot, I really hope to be able to OP £200 tomorrow.

    The mortgage balance as at today's date is £146,450. I am mightily pleased with what we have achieved so far this year :):) Next years target.... to get into five figures! :):)

    Southern fried chicken for tea tonight with mash and veg. I need to do an audit of my present drawer to see just how much we have to get for the big ho-ho-ho, hopefully not much...

    Have lovely days all xx:) :):)

    No pays this week from my self-employed work unfortunately, hopefully next week will be more fruitful. Small OP of £8 made to reflect today's ebay sales :):) and signature duly updated.

    Happy weekend folks x
