I have used Firefox for a few years after switching from IE9 but now it seems to be locking up quite often. I don't like Chrome and really like having Favorites/Bookmarks (or whatever each browser calls them) as a column on the left hand side from top to bottom. Any recommendations?
TIA

Do you have any addons in Firefox, is it using the latest version of adobe flash or has your browser bar been hijacked by something like mysearch ?

Try running Firefox with "firefox -p" to bring up the Profile Manager, then see if the problems still occur with a new profile.
It may be that your profile has become corrupted, or an add-on in your profile may be causing problems.0 -
There are portable versions of most browsers, so try them and decide for yourself

epic security browser, is a great second browser to have, but do click on the red connection on the right side of the address box so that it turns green. Epic refreshes the parts other browsers can't reach

Chrome all the way for me. The flexibility of the extensions pretty much makes it my favourite browser.0

Opera is my favourite web browser. I have other browsers installed for website checking purposes but Opera remains my personal choice.#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0
