Transporting hat on airplane

Just thought you would be interested to know that there was no problem at the airport - mainly because my darling husband to be forgot the hat box!!! SO it sat on the back seat of the car for the week while we were away.....
....although no-one else at the wedding was wearing one so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise
