I got into AQA as well! I sent back my contract the other day, now just waiting for the induction. I suppose you can work for both texperts and AQA... there was nothing about exclusivity on their contract.

Any ideas how long it takes texperts to get back to you after completing the online quiz?
I had an email back within about an hour, but it might just depend on who's online. Apparently there is a backlog for inductions though, so my email just said that I would have to wait 1-2 months and that if I still wanted, they would contact me when they're ready.
I applied to AQA yesterday and have got my application form etc today.

The job description says I need a degree. I don't have one, anyone else get in without a degree and did you say you hadn't got one on the application form?
I don't have a degree and I didn't want to lie on the application, so I said 'no'. I still got a place and I'm only 18! :p

Why not send a very polite email? I did and it turned out that they'd emailed me four days previously. Said they sometimes have trouble with hotmail accounts so I've opened a yahoo one now which seems to be working.
I got into Texperts and AQA and I don't have a degree and didn't lie. Think you've just got to prove you can do the job. They do expect perfect grammar, punctuation and spelling though.

The Texperts contract requires exclusivity, so you won't be able to work for both AQA and Texperts at the same time.

I want to move to theory. Everything works in theory.

There was a problem with email initially. I sent my answers and application form back 24hrs after receiving them. Over a week later I received an email back saying that AQA hadn't received them. So I resent them and had them confirm receipt. This was 8 days ago and I've heard nothing since. I'm not sure how long to leave it.

    AQA - I'm in! :j

I was very careful with the app - my tips would be:

    - Check wording, spelling, punctuation
    - Check you're over the minimum characters
    - Check you're UNDER the max characters!

Incidentally the (short) answer to my Wembley Stadium question was 25,600 :D

Sent the app in on Friday and heard back late on Monday.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • I just want to say a big thanks to Martin and everyone who has posted about AQA for the info. I've just been accepted on my first attempt and even a little bit of money is going to make a big difference to me at the moment. I would never have thought about AQA if it wasn't for this site, I'm so glad I've found it! :D

    Thanks again!
  • I'm in with AQA. Which is nice. Told a couple of people, who were very keen on doing it too, but when I checked the website, they've closed the UK applications. So to those who got in this time, well done.
  • How much do tgey pay, it's not clear from the site.
