  • Just seen a shocking untruth in the magazine my health insurance people send me: "if you're single, you need life insurance. Should something happen to you, life cover can help settle your debts so the burden wouldn't be placed on your parents or family"

Wow Carrie that is bad. If it's true. I don't know enough about it anymore but what about payday loans etc can they pass on to family?

Congrats on the job MMM and happy birthday to NFmumofthrees boy :)

Not a good day for me today.

I took in some carbonara from the freezer and my new (ahem) lunchbox to save half for tomorrow and then ate the lot. I did actually need the lunchbox as I've lost the bottom half of mine, I'm holding onto the lid in case it turns up but I don't think it will. The new lunch box was reduced from £6 to £1.80 though so quite bargainous.

Son is in a strop tonight (and last night) so I've taken to my bed with a packet of biscuits, a cup of tea and the iPad (DH is rehearsing tonight.) I will get up at 10pm to watch 10000 years BC as I love stuff like that.

Both suits have to go back to the shop and I've had to order a third. All were paid for on my Mr T card (cleared each month) I hope I get to keep the points after the refunds.

I keep meaning to change all my direct debits and standing orders to a Sant ander 123 account and I'm determined to do it this weekend, I will still keep my usual account but just transfer the right amount over each month.

I must also upgrade DSs mobile account as he keeps going over on his internet usage by half way through the month and it'd be cheaper to upgrade his package.

Estate agents are being a pain, despite telling them we only want viewings as a block on Saturdays they keep ringing up to ask if they can, for instance, bring someone round at midday tomorrow.

Still nothing booked for my week off, a week of sleeping late is looking very inviting :)
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10
