UKPC Parking Charge

Stuck on my windscreen on 25/01/15 at Highbridge Retail Park in Waltham Abbey for not parking within line markings of a designated space.
Not knowing any better I appealed online giving my details as driver on the grounds that Blue Badge (my wife's - passenger) was displayed, I had parked so as not to inconvenience anybody and reasonable adjustments should be made re Disability Discrimination Act and Equalities Act.
What is my best course of action?
Thanks

Can't see sticky thread. What does it look like?
Ok. Found it0 -
Have written to the store in the retail park that I visited advising them of UKPC's behaviour and asking them to get my charge cancelled.0
-
Store replied saying they 'are unable to instruct UKPC to withdraw this charge, we have spoken to our client- Liason Key accounts manager...on your behalf, to see what we can do to help you. However unfortunately after 72 hours of the charge being given there is nothing she can do to cancel the notice going forward.'0

wait for the NTK to arrive and appeal after that arrives0

And write back telling them that (i) you don't believe that they cannot get the charge cancelled (ii) there is a difference between "cannot" and "will not" and (iii) if they don't get it cancelled you will never shop there againJe suis Charlie.0 -
Good idea Bazster. I plan to, and to cc their head office. Anything dazzling I can quote at them? Eg is there any basis that you are aware of for that 72 hours bit?0
-
72 hours is an arbitrary made-up time scale, unless there is something in the contract (between the store and UKPC) that states any cancellation requests must be made within 72 hours of the PCN being raised.0

inform them that you are thinking of making a counter claim under the EA2010 too, if the charge is not cancelled , as landowner they will be held jointly accountable with the PPC and both will be named on the MCOL0 -
Amongst other things tell them that THEY are jointly responsible under the EQUALITY ACT 2010 and if any court proceedings take place they will be named and called to give evidence.
Tell the shop that you wish to return what you purchased as it is to expensive , and that you wish to purchase else from a retailer who's car park company does not hound you!
