Very safe and secure, you can make it unbreakable if you use a strong password.
Do you know how it compares with PasswordSafe for ease of use as well as security?
I've used PasswordSafe for quite sometime now (updating as necessary), but should I try KeePass do you think?0 -
I know it's all very well using strong passwords and keeping them safe, but has anyone actually had an important password nicked..??:rolleyes:0

Both are open-source so shouldn't be too much difference security-wise(?). For ease of use, I think you'll have to try KeePass firsthand & see how you get on.
P.S. I use a couple of free ones (not mentioned so far) that are very easy to operate & suit me well, but I won't mention them here as the OP has enough to choose from alreadyI know it's all very well using strong passwords and keeping them safe, but has anyone actually had an important password nicked..??, wouldn't you? Never used PasswordSafe to be honest.
KeePass uses AES and Twofish, so if you use strong password (the longer the better) it'll be unbreakable. It's well designed and easy to use. Portable too for your USB key, and is multi platform. A lot of the things I like about a well written piece of software."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
