Its still in its box, I am thinking of wrapping it up and putting it under the tree with a label on from me  :D ... then again, if I'm bored later I might just have to test it works so we're not all disappointed on the big day ;):D

...just for the sake of ds of course... it wouldn't be a bad idea just to suss out how it works so you can set it up quicker but then if you wait then you'll be nearly as excited as him on christmas day.
Just wanted to say thanks again as you inspired me to start comping in august and I've won loads already - just got an email to say a lovely posh mobile will be delivered in jan and I really wanted a new one so:beer::A

Well done on your win !!! Unfortunately for me I have hardly done any comping for months :o ... another of those things I must sort out in the new year ;):D
Ds wouldn't know what a Wii was if it came and smacked him round the chops :D , however, my bil is VERY excited to hear that I've got one as we are going there for the day on xmas day ... think I might have a fight on my hands to be able to bring it home again ;):D

I've just returned from Tesco, having decided to brave the mad crush tonight instead of over the weekend  and it was dead!!! All the checkouts were open but about a third of them were empty :D It was really easy, none of the pushing and shoving I'd geared myself up for ;)

I spent £27 in total (not eating here on xmas day or boxing day), I didn't see the point in buying loads of stuff that ds won't eat / will make me fatter / won't fit in the cupboard etc etc, so bought pretty much my usual stuff with a few nice bits chucked in as extra ;) I also had a "Spend £30 and save £5 coupon from the last time I went" which brought the total down under £20 for me ;)

So, now all I have left to do is get something for my Mum  , buy some croissants for a breakfast hamper  (dates weren't long enough in Tesco), and wrap everything up :D:D:D

  • Glad your wii arrived:D There seems to have been an influx of wii deliveries in my town this week, every shop nearly is advertising them for sale:confused: but most people I know have ordered then from amazon already.
Hope you get sorted with something for your mum soon:eek: . I did an online boots shop this morning to grab some half price bargains for next years birthdays etc.OH thinks I am nuts:rotfl: but I now have 8 birthdays sorted:D

Morning everyone :D Well I was good and didnt open the Wii last night ;) I checked my online banking this morning and Amazon haven't taken the money for it yet either :D

Today has to be the mother of all housework day  My flat is an absolute bombsite and if it doesn't get sorted this side of Christmas it will be impossible afterwards with all the new presents and stuff everywhere, so seing as the weather here is yucky today I am going to let ds play in the lounge with whatever toys he likes while I sort the other rooms, and then he can help me do the lounge and hopefully then I can relax later on ;)

I do have to nip round to my nans with some presents later on too and I'm hoping for a nice vegging in front of the tv night tonight to watch strictly dancing and parky ;):D

    Hi benben

What a nice evening you had! Sounds very relaxed, even with Tesco's included... I've finished for Christmas too now, and my Friday was also relaxed - one session in the morning here at home, and another in London in the evening, with posh crisps in the car on the way home as a little treat. Got a horrific list to do today - just off to my own diary to wail a bit! Have a good day - not *too* much housework, please!
