I had a burst of energy when I came home and got a few jobs done off my list ... yet another list that I made at work today  .... so far this evening I have...
- been to the bank and banked my £2 coins and 2 cheques
- transferred it online to the right accounts
- put the rubbish bag out
- filled the dishwasher and put it on
- got ds tea
- bought bread and milk
- phoned up to sort out breakfast club arrangements
- phoned up tax credits to tell them about the change in childcare costs (needn't have bothered, they were utterly useless  )
- put away the clean washing
How good have I been ???
I'm feeling all smug because its not even 6 yet and I've got loads of stuff done that I've been meaning to get round to for agesMy list is still huge though and I must work on it some more tonight  off to do ds bath now, be back later

I bought my mum national trust membership for her birthday through quidco and it was declined. I put in an enquiry but they said unless I could give them a refernce number (long since deleted from my emails:rolleyes: ) then they couldn't chase it up   ... anyway, I just checked my account and it has gone from being declined to being validated :j :j Yay !!! So an extra £20 I wasn't reckoning on getting coming this way in the new year :beer:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I had a phone call earlier from MBNA ... I applied for the credit card that Martin mentioned in the email (0% balance transfer) ... they have accepted me, but I only get a limit of £1000
Now, I haven't had a credit card before but this seems a pretty low amount to me  Don't think I'm gonna mae much money out of that one

Hi benben good news on the quidco payment. Did the same to me last year, was declined when I bought HSA health cover- it was £70. I lost faith for a while afterwards and didn't use quidco for 9 months, when I logged in by chance it had been validated 6 months later and I had £70 sitting in my account:D . I'd never completed bank details so would never have been paid if I hadn't logged on to check something else:eek:. Not had any issues since then though.:rolleyes:0

Its looking like being a cheap social christmas this year, I've had to pull out of my works christmas do on friday as my dad is ill and mum has to go back to be with him so I don't have anyone left to have ds, well I do have a couple of people but it would mean him going to one friend for a couple of hours then them taking him to another friend for a couple of hours etc and I hate to see him passed round from pillar to post
Still, it will save me some money as I was going to have to buy something to wear
I will see if I can sell my ticket at work tomorrow as it was sold out, so hopefully someone may want it
My night out with friends tonight has now changed to a night round a friends house with mulled wine and nibbles, so again, should be a cheapy night
On the night so good side ... I had an email from M&S today to say that part of my order (mums present) is now out of stock so they wont be sending it  I'm really annoyed as its getting too late to order anything else now so will have to go shopping again after all    Why couldnt they have said it was out of stock when I ordered a couple of days ago ???
Today I've spent £1.90 on lunch (christmas dinner at work) and 50p on a cake
